Buckstone lift School Board Cup for first time
Lex McEwan, captain of the Buckstone Primary School P6 team, proudly displays the venerable School Board Cup won by the south Edinburgh outfit for the first time in its 127 year history.
Buckstone defeated St Johns PS 3-0 with goals from Connor Barker, Innes Bryce and Lex McEwan, two in the first half and the other with the last kick of the ball.
Also at Meggetland the Girls Summer Cup final saw South Morningside defeat Liberton PS 5-2.
It was a thoroughly determined display by South Morningside who had to come back from conceding the opening two goals.
