Police shooting probe after gun fired outside Tipton school
Police are investigating a shooting after a gun was fired outside a Tipton primary school. Police were called to reports of a firearms discharge near Glebefields Primary School at around 3.30pm yesterday, July 18. Staff and children at the Sandgate Road school were kept on school grounds whilst officers made the area safe. "We were called to reports of a firearms discharge in Sandgate Road, Tipton, at around 3.30pm. "Thankfully, no-one was injured. "We understand the concern in the community with a school nearby. "Students, parents and staff were kept on school grounds whilst police attended and made the area safe.
