Ajay Devgn's favourite alcohol brand sells only 1,200 bottles. Check it's jaw-dropping price
For nearly thirty years, Ajay Devgn has reigned over Indian cinema with his powerful performances. However, beyond the world of movies, Devgn has skillfully built a parallel career as a businessman. His entrepreneurial footprint includes owning a visual effects company, a multiplex chain, and other business ventures. Most recently, Ajay has stepped into the premium alcohol segment by investing in an exclusive single malt high-end whisky brand, GlenJourneys , was spotlighted in a report by CNBC TV18. The brand is priced steeply, with each bottle retailing between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000. Only 1,200 limited-edition bottles are available, making the launch both elite and rare. Speaking about his new investment, Ajay told the outlet, 'I've appreciated fine spirits ever since I came of age.' Interestingly, the actor gave up alcohol after a detox retreat. 'After visiting a wellness spa, I didn't feel like drinking anymore,' he explained. 'Now I restrict myself to just two small drinks a day, and the rich flavor of this malt is truly irresistible.'Ajay also called himself a 'style-conscious man' and admitted he was instantly drawn to the brand after sampling the product. 'The moment I tasted the whisky, I knew I wanted to be part of this journey,' he another interview with Money Control, Devgn disclosed that he once preferred vodka but transitioned to exploring single malts after giving up alcohol for a while. It was during a trip to Scotland that he met his current business partner, Mokksh Sani of Cartel Bros, which sparked the idea of this venture. The brand had previously collaborated with actor Sanjay Dutt, whose involvement helped sell 300,000 units of 200 ml bottles in just 45 a humorous twist, Ajay recalled an unusual drinking tradition he shared with friends on chef Sanjyot Keer's YouTube show. He said they would squeeze the syrup out of a rasgulla, dunk it in liquor, and eat it soaked. 'Once it absorbed the alcohol, we'd just pop it in like a shot,' he Devgn was last seen in Raid 2, an intense action film that's doing well at the box office. The movie has earned ₹108.75 crore domestically in just ten days, while globally, it's raked in ₹137.8 crore. Although it has outpaced recent releases like Jaat and Kesari 2, it still trails slightly behind Ajay's Shaitaan, which earned ₹1.75 crore more on its 10th day. Still, Raid 2 is outperforming his previous film Azaad significantly.

Ajay Devgn's single malt costs Rs 60,000 per bottle, actor says he is ‘hooked' to the taste: ‘I have two drinks a day'
Ajay Devgn has been an actor for almost three decades but alongside his acting career, he has also been an entrepreneur. It is well known that Ajay has a visual effects studio and a cinema chain, along with a few other businesses. Now, the actor has also entered the alcohol industry as he recently invested in a single malt brand. The cost of one of these bottles varies between Rs 50,000-Rs 60,000 and there are only 1200 limited edition bottles of the beverage. As per a recent report by CNBC TV 18, the malt is called GlenJourneys and Ajay told the publication, 'I have enjoyed drinking good alcohol ever since I was legally qualified to drink.' Although, Ajay quit drinking after visiting a 'wellness spa' and stayed sober for a year. 'I went to a wellness spa, and since then, I didn't feel like drinking at all,' he shared and added, 'Now, I only have two small drinks a day. The bold flavour of the malt is something I love.' Describing himself as a 'fashion guy', Ajay said that he was 'hooked' after he 'tasted the whisky' and got associated with the brand. When he met his co-founder, Mokksh Sani of Cartel Bros in Scotland, Ajay got interested in the business opportunity. Previously, the brand collaborated with actor Sanjay Dutt, who was also the face of the brand and they reportedly managed to sell 3 lakh units of their 200 ml bottles within 45 days of the launch. Ajay, during a recent appearance on Sanjyot Keer's YouTube channel where he told his fans about a rather unique way of consuming alcohol. He shared that he and his friends would squeeze out the sugar syrup out of a rasgulla, and then dip it into a glass of liquor. When the rasgulla absorbed all the liquor, they would just eat it at once.
