Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.22%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a negative note on Monday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(up 1.73 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.5 per cent) and J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Mankind Pharma Ltd.(down 2.17 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.22 per cent down at 21394.1. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 34.11 points at 24716.6, while the BSE Sensex stood down 77.26 points at 81373.75. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 ended in the green, while 30 closed in the red. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy and Niva Bupa Health Ins were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of AstraZeneca, IFB Agro, Pennar Ind, Lumax Auto Tech and Reliance Infra hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shree Ram Proteins, SKIL Infrastructure, Techindia Nirman, Mittal Life Style and Varanium Cloud hit their fresh 52-week lows. Remove Ads NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a negative note on of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 3.61 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 0.66 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 0.57 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.44 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the the other hand, Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.71 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.08 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) finished as the top losers of the Nifty Pharma index closed 0.68 per cent down at NSE Nifty50 index ended down 82.9 points at 24750.7, while the BSE Sensex stood down 182.01 points at the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 7 ended in the green, while 43 closed in the of Vodafone Idea Eternal and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)were among the most traded shares on the of Lumax Auto Tech , Reliance Power, Shaily Engg Plastics, BSE and CCL Products hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Signpost India , Career Point, Navkar Builders , Borana Weaves and Capri Global hit their fresh 52-week lows.

Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.88% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 11:16AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market. ADVERTISEMENT Biocon Ltd.(up 2.0 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.55 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent) were among the top gainers. Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent) and J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.88 per cent at 21585.05 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 75.31 points at 24385.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 217.16 points at 80579.68. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 16 were trading in the green, while 34 were in the red.
