Join Robert Wun and Prabal Gurung at Next In Vogue 2025
The stage is set. Following last year's success that clinched Gold award for Best Event (In Person and Virtual) by the Global Native Advertising Awards, Next In Vogue is back for its third iteration. A multi-day extravaganza that welcomes leading voices of the industry to come together and engage in a multitude of purposefully-curated activities and panel discussions—all surrounding the interesting intersections between fashion, beauty, technology and culture.
As part of the riveting lineup, Vogue Conversations returns, this time centred on: The Year of The Reset. Where we will discuss the rise of Southeast Asia's creative universe, and bring in regional forces who are redefining what innovation and influence can look like in today's industry. And who better to lead this very notion than fashion powerhouses Robert Wun and Prabal Gurung, who will grace Next In Vogue 2025 with their respective fireside chats. Founder of London-based fashion label Robert Wun, Wun is the first designer from Hong Kong to join the haute couture calendar in its history, as a guest member of The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Every Robert Wun collection tells a genre-bending story through modern artistry and craftsmanship, putting forward narratives of visibility and liberation in fashion.
Robert was the Prix Spécial Winner of the ANDAM Fashion Awards 2022. He was also named one of the most influential individuals in the fashion industry by Vogue Business 100 and Tatler Asia, he was nominated by Wallpaper China as Designer of the Year, and also nominated for New Establishments Womenswear – The Fashion Awards 2023 by the British Fashion Council. Having dressed artists like Beyoncé, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Adele, Cardi B, the designer was also commissioned and has worked with The Royal Ballet, Hunger Games movie series and renowned director Wong Kar Wai. Born in Singapore and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, Gurung's eponymous label was launched in 2009, and has since become a household name in America—with a focus of quality and innovation in its designs. A philosophy that revolves around modern luxury, indelible style and an astute sense of glamour naturally made Gurung a favourite amongst the stars in Hollywood. And beyond that, the famed list also extends to leading ladies like First Lady Michelle Obama and The Duchess of Cambridge.
Prabal Gurung chooses to manufacture in New York city to uphold standards of quality while supporting the local community. With over 80% of the collection made in New York, Prabal Gurung is committed to sustaining domestic employment and income, as well as upholding the importance of domestic production, particularly in respect to the quality of the finished product and helps to bring this awareness to an international audience.
In 2022, Gurung was honoured as the Designer of the Year at the American Image Awards, was awarded the Humanitarian Award at the 38th Annual Night of the Stars Gala, and won the Positive Social Influence Award as a member of the Slaysians at the CFDA Awards. Gurung was also elected as Vice Chair of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, beginning his role in January 2023. His memoir, Walk Like a Girl , was also recently released in May by Viking.
