Jeremy Clarkson's co-star Harry Cowan shares harsh four-word verdict on the TV host

Jeremy Clarkson's Clarkson's Farm co-star Harriet Cowan has opened up about their time on the Amazon Prime Video series and issued a brutal verdict on the TV host Harriet Cowan has taken a cheeky dig at her new TV co-star, Jeremy Clarkson, whilst discussing the presenter's farming methods. ‌ In a candid interview, Harriet, who has become Clarkson's Farm's latest breakout sensation, revealed how she landed her role working alongside Jeremy on the massively successful Amazon Prime series, which has now reached its fourth series. ‌ The rising star had already begun building her fanbase before her television breakthrough, racking up an impressive 40,000 TikTok followers (now soaring to 730,000) through her tractor-focused videos. ‌ Her journey onto Clarkson's Farm also kicked off via social media when she was contacted by the production team. ‌ Harriet revealed how they were seeking someone to "come and help," reports Gloucestershire Live. Speaking to the Sunday Times, Harriet explained: "Charlie (Ireland, Clarkson's land agent) let me know they were looking for someone to come and help. I think they were keen for it to be a woman who could do that role and show they could do it well." ‌ The agricultural expert then shared her impressions of Jeremy, confessing she wasn't particularly acquainted with his previous work, though she'd certainly heard his name, remarking that she wasn't "really into the cars". She described Jeremy as being "very much like every other farmer I've ever met" and "very much willing to learn. He wanted to do well by the farm." In a particularly cheeky observation, she quipped that "he's got the physique of a farmer." ‌ The 24 year old nurse and farmer, Harriet, filled in for Jeremy Clarkson's usual sidekick, Kaleb Cooper, from the renowned Diddly Squat farm in the Cotswolds, while he was away on a live tour. Derbyshire-born Harriet chose dual career paths, inspired by her parents. Her mother, a nurse, hoped she would follow in her footsteps, whereas her father manages the family farm. ‌ After graduating from the University of Derby in 2023, Harriet now juggles full-time nursing with helping out on the farm, using social media to shed light on the realities of farm life. Her stint at Diddly Squat Farm saw her tackle tasks ranging from animal care to fence repairs. She has also expressed that she'd be "very open" to returning to the farm should Jeremy require her assistance again. In his Sunday Times Magazine column, Jeremy Clarkson shared insights into his farming journey, pinpointing what he finds to be the most "difficult thing" within the industry, admitting there are still elements he fails to grasp. Despite being a seasoned presenter on The Grand Tour, Clarkson confessed that certain aspects of food production baffle him, such as not knowing how to "turn a pig into a sausage" and stating it's "even worse" with cows. Yet, one challenge reigns supreme as the "most difficult" for him: "But by far and away the most difficult thing would be turning my wheat into bread. This is something that has fascinated me for years because how on earth did anyone figure it out?"

During a past conversation, Adam opened up about his farming future, acknowledging that with his offspring showing little enthusiasm for inheriting the business, he'll depart once the tenancy expires. ‌ The Countryfile presenter revealed plans to relocate to a neighbouring bungalow, given his children's lack of interest in continuing the family farming tradition. In a chat with the Daily Express newspaper, he shared: "My dad was ahead of his time by opening a farm for people to come and visit, bottle-feed a lamb, or hold a chick. "While I was pulling on my wellies and chasing my dad out of the door to join him on the farm, my own children aren't interested in a career in farming. "Sure, they can lamb a sheep and drive a tractor, but my daughter lives in Perth as an events organiser and my son is a financial advisor in Leeds." He continued: "So when the tenancy runs out in 12 years' time, Charlie and I are moving to a bungalow close by in Winchcombe, where we have a few acres and will keep a few sheep and the dogs. "It will be the end of an era, but I will still be able to enjoy the lovely countryside."

ITV confirm Who Wants to be a Millionaire future with Jeremy Clarkson announcement

Jeremy Clarkson is poised to return for more episodes of ITV's Who Wants to be a Millionaire, as well as a brand new spin-off show. The star of Clarkson's Farm has been confirmed by bosses to host the UK premiere of Millionaire Hot Seat, in addition to an extended run of Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Millionaire Hot Seat is a high-speed version of the global Millionaire format, demanding players to think strategically and respond under pressure as they race against the clock and each other. The show has enjoyed long-standing ratings success in Australia, with over 2,500 episodes broadcasted. A variation on the classic Millionaire format, it features six contestants competing for a chance to win big, but there's no room for hesitation. The rules are straightforward, but the gameplay is relentless. Contestants sit in a queue around the eponymous Hot Seat, but only the person in the Hot Seat can face Jeremy and answer questions on the Million Pound Money Ladder. The contestant must answer correctly to ascend the ladder, but if they answer incorrectly, they're out and the top prize decreases. If they pass, they remain in the game, but move to the back of the line and may not get another turn. If a passed question goes to the next player, the contestant must answer, Get it right, they stay. Get it wrong, they're out, reports Gloucestershire Live. Only the top prize remaining on the ladder can be won, and the player tackling that question must answer it correctly to take home the cash. Filming for the UK version is set to kick off this November, with a UK launch planned for 2026. ITV has also commissioned 19 new episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, including seven celebrity specials. Katie Rawcliffe, ITV's Director of Entertainment and Daytime Commissioning, said: "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has reached 18 million viewers on ITV so far this year alone." She added that commissioning a new spin-off format to capitalise further on the brand's success was an obvious decision, especially given the success of Millionaire Hot Seat in other territories. Matthew Worthy, Co-CEO of Stellify Media, said: "It is an honour to produce Millionaire for ITV." He described Millionaire Hot Seat as the main show's cheeky younger sibling, promising more Jeremy, more money-ladder moments, but with a whole new tone, pace, and feel.

Zara Tindall 'annoyed' by husband Mike's £12,000 purchase after 'a few beers'

Zara Tindall admits she was 'annoyed' when former rugby star Mike made the spontaneous purchase and, even more so, when she realised it didn't 'backfire' on the former rugby player Zara Tindall was left "so annoyed" when her husband Mike spontaneously splashed out £12,000 on a horse after "a few beers". The incident occurred during a sales night at Cheltenham Racecourse, according to Princess Anne's daughter. The 44-year-old explained that horses would be presented and attendees could decide if they wished to purchase them. It wasn't until the final lot of the evening that former England rugby captain Mike decided to make a bid. ‌ Speaking to Closer, Zara said: "He'd had a few beers. It was the last lot of the night, Mikey put his hand up and that was it. He was left buying this horse for £12,000. ‌ "Annoyingly, it did not backfire. He got three mates involved and the horse ended up winning the Welsh Grand National and came third in the Grand National. I was so annoyed." The horse, named Monbeg Dude, was co-owned by Mike along with ex-England rugby star James Simpson-Daniel and retired Wales fly-half Nicky Robinson. It was trained by Michael Scudamore, reports Gloucestershire Live. ‌ Monbeg Dude gained recognition as one of the leading steeplechasers of its era. However, in 2016, the then 10-year-old was forced into retirement due to an injury sustained during the Grand National race. Following his retirement, Monbeg Dude moved in with Mike and Zara, an Olympic silver medalist, at Gatcombe Park. This expansive Gloucestershire estate is home to both the Tindall family and the Princess Royal and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence. ‌ Scudamore expressed "mixed feelings" over the enforced retirement of the racehorse, feeling it was both "sad" but also "nice to see him go out in one piece". Talking to BBC Sport, he commented: "It's great to see him going to a happy retirement but he will certainly leave a big hole in the yard. We've had some great days with him and the thing about him was that he wasn't bred to be a superstar." ‌ Reflecting on Monbeg Dude's journey, Scudamore mentioned the horse "didn't cost a lot of money" yet hailed him as a "tough performer". Despite considering a return to fitness for more races, he concluded it would "not be fair" due to the horse's age. The cherished Monbeg Dude spent his later years at Gatcombe Park beside Zara's late horse Toytown, which passed away in 2017. Both Zara and Toytown were expected to take part in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics but injuries prevented their participation. Zara did, however, compete in the London 2012 Olympic Games, securing a silver medal in Team Eventing, mirroring the athletic legacy of her parents – her mother Anne competed in eventing at the 1976 Olympics while her father Mark Phillips clinched gold in 1972 Munich games.
