Bruno Mars' brother and drummer, Eric Hernandez, learned of Grayson's story on KTLA 5. Hernandez came to the station and surprised Grayson with one of his drum kits so he could 'keep the beat alive.'

The little drummer just booked and performed his biggest gig yet, backing up hip-hop royalty. He got to play on the stage alongside Public Enemy's Flavor Flav and Chuck D at a Black Music Action Coalition event benefiting wildfire victims.
Flav also met with Grayson to tour the historically Black neighborhoods in Altadena.
