The collision happened Thursday on Perth Road 145, south of Perth Line 34. Ontario Provincial Police said trains won't be able to travel through the area until the bridge is repaired. Perth Line 145 will also be closed between Perth Line 34 and Perth Line 32 for at least one week. OPP said there was no estimate for when the bridge will reopen and train traffic could resume. A 47-year-old man from Stratford has been charged with careless driving.
