Iceland has teamed up with popular biscuit and cake maker McVitie's to launch an exclusive new ice cream collection. Transforming beloved flavours into frozen delights gives fans a chance to savour "the ultimate sweet treat" as summer comes to an end.
The supermarket revealed its partnership with McVitie's, which features four products—two "perfect for sharing" ice cream tubs and two ice cream bars. The new range means there will likely be something to cater to "everyone's taste and preferences."
Certain items are currently available in Iceland's freezers, whilst others will arrive within days. People who are partial to a Hobnob can delve into a tub of 'oat biscuit ice cream' loaded with biscuit pieces, shortcake and golden syrup sauce.
The Milk Chocolate Digestive tub combines biscuit-flavoured ice cream with chocolate sauce, milk chocolate digestive biscuit pieces and chocolate shavings. That's not all, though, as more items are coming later in August.
Customers will be able to pick up McVitie's Gold Digestives Ice Cream Bars, which delivers an indulgent vanilla-flavoured ice cream, layered with caramel sauce, coated in golden caramel and sprinkled with crunchy biscuit pieces, reports the Mirror.

And, possibly what fans are most excited about, McVitie's Jaffa Cakes Sticks feature zesty, orange-flavoured ice cream coated in a rich chocolate shell with a swirl of tangy orange sauce and a smooth milk chocolate finish. The supermarket teased the ice cream on Instagram, with plenty of fans rushing to the comments section to make sure this wasn't a joke.
One asked: "Please tell me these are real?!" Another said: "OMG we need to get some!" A third commented: "I am sure this is the dessert that is served in heaven!" Someone else posted: "Neeeeed to try!" And, another wrote: "The best idea ever! Now I need to find them!"
Benazir Barlet-Batada, marketing director at McVitie's, said: "We're thrilled to see our iconic biscuits and cakes reimagined for the freezer aisle-especially with the ice cream tubs landing just in time for the August sunshine. From the crunch of Hobnobs to the unmistakable spongy zing of a Jaffa Cake, this range captures the essence of McVitie's in every bite. We're bringing something genuinely fun and delicious to sunny snacking moments."

Paul Dhaliwal, chief commercial officer at Iceland Foods, added: "Surely the only thing better than biscuits and ice cream is a combination of the two, and we're delighted to work with McVitie's to launch such a fantastic range. We're committed to refining and innovating our products, and we can't wait for our customers to try these products. Make sure to get to your local stores to avoid missing out."
