Coke Florida Names New Leaders for Distribution and Manufacturing Operations
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) announced today that Leroy Yancey, Jr. has been named to lead Distribution Operations and James 'Jim' Boyce has been promoted to lead the company's Manufacturing Operations. Leroy and Jim will play a key role in the strategy and strong execution that are essential to our growth in the Florida marketplace. Share Yancey, who currently serves as Vice President, Manufacturing Operations, will move into the role of Vice President, Distribution Operations. He has more than 15 years experience across the Coca-Cola system and joined Coke Florida in 2017. In his new role, he will lead the execution of the company's distribution network, which includes traditional and automated warehousing and fleet operations. Boyce, who currently serves as Territory General Manager for Coke Florida's Tampa market, will move into the role of Vice President, Manufacturing Operations. Jim has held numerous roles across manufacturing operations over his 17 years in the Coca-Cola system. In his new role, he will oversee Coke Florida's manufacturing operations that produce more than 100 million cases of beverages annually. Coke Florida Hosts Grand Opening for New Tampa Distribution Center
BUSINESS WIRE)--Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) hosted the official grand opening of its new state-of-the-art Tampa Distribution Center and Fleet Facility yesterday, marking a major milestone of growth for the company in central Florida. The $300 million plus investment sits on the company's 156-acre site, located at US 301 and the Selmon Expressway, and features a new 800,000 square foot, fully automated warehouse facility and a 250,000 square foot state-of-the-art fleet maintenance facility. The new Tampa Distribution Center and Fleet Facility underscores Coke Florida's commitment to growth and dedication to local economic development. The facilities were constructed entirely using Florida-based contractors and vendors. Sustainability was also a core focus in the site's development, leading to the addition of wetlands, solar stations, trees, and apiaries to the property.
