LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The London Police Department (LPD) has issued a Golden Alert for a missing North Carolina man who was last seen on Friday morning near Saint Joseph Hospital. The department posted on Facebook that David W. Hockenberry, 38, was last seen around 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Authorities said Hockenberry was last seen driving a black 2019 Nissan Rogue with a New York license plate. He has also been known to experience mental health challenges. See the latest coverage of people missing in Kentucky Report a missing person(s) to FOX 56 News Law enforcement wrote that Hockenberry was last seen near St. Joseph Hospital wearing a white t-shirt and a ball cap with gray shorts and white and brown tennis shoes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. Anyone with information that could help find Hockenberry is asked to contact the London-Laurel County 911 Dispatch Center at (606) 878-7000. Manchester man accused of stealing copper wire, electric motors

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Manchester man is facing charges for allegedly stealing and trying to burn copper wire along with electric motors. The Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) posted on Facebook that on Friday, deputies got a call from 911 dispatchers saying that a man was burning copper on Lucy Lane. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, deputies found 53-year-old Randall Grubb of Manchester, who was allegedly burning copper wire and electric motors. 'Grubb had a large box of burned wire in his possession, along with cutters and different cutting tools.' Grubb was arrested and charged with failure to appear in court, theft of services of $10,000 or more, and theft by unlawful taking. He was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center. Grant County emergency management officials wrote that he was seen leaving his residence in a gray Ford F-150 Grey with blue stripes. His license plate number is reportedly 'ACE123.' MONTICELLO, Ky. (FOX 56) — A 74-year-old woman who was previously reported missing was found trapped in barbed wire on Thursday. According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office (WCSO), around 8 a.m. on Thursday, a woman's neighbor reported that she was last seen Wednesday afternoon and had not shown up for dinner. The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office searched through the area, including the national cemetery where the woman's husband was buried, but deputies said they were unable to find her. A Golden Alert was eventually issued for the woman. Around 4:30 p.m., dispatch in Wayne County received a call from a woman about a car parked behind her house on Spann Hill Water Tower Road after her granddaughter saw the vehicle sitting there. The woman told dispatch that she could see a woman lying in the field entangled in a barbed wire fence. The woman was found alive but injured, and she was quickly taken to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment, according to WCSO. Her condition is not known at this time.
