Meanwhile, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was one of India's most influential political leaders, known for his statesmanship, oratory, and vision for a strong and self-reliant India.
He was born on December 25, 1924, and served as the tenth Prime Minister of the country, first for a brief period in 1996 and then from 1998 to 2004.
He was also a founding member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and played a significant role in shaping modern Indian politics.
His tenure saw significant developments, including the Pokhran-II nuclear tests, expansion of national highways through the Golden Quadrilateral project, and efforts toward peace with Pakistan.
In recognition of his service, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honor, in 2015. Vajpayee passed away on August 16, 2018, but his legacy continues to inspire generations.
