Tyson Fury mocks Oleksandr Usyk with new video after announcing trilogy fight
Tyjson Fury has been training ahead of his return to the ring in April 2026 and has mocked Oleksandr Usyk as he prepares to face the Ukrainian for a third time Tyson Fury has ramped up his trolling of Oleksandr Usyk after announcing a date for their trilogy fight. Following a brief retirement in January after suffering two defeats at the hands of Usyk, the 'Gypsy King' has announced his comeback. The boxing world was set abuzz when Saudi boxing bigwig Turki Alalshikh announced on social media: "The 'Gypsy King' will be back!!! I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in have a rabbit to hunt!" This was met with a swift repost from Fury himself, teasing: "Let's see what 2026 brings," alongside a string of dollar emojis and chuckles. Fury then purported to announce the proposed date and venue for the grudge match against Usyk via Instagram on Thursday morning. Sharing an event poster featuring the pair, he declared, "April 18, 2026 Wembley Stadium. The trilogy! UK. contact @spencerbrownmrgoldstar for tickets." And now, in a cheeky social media video, Fury has showcased a blow-up doll sporting Usyk's face, humourously gearing up for a potential future bout. "I have got myself a little Usyk," declared Fury, adding with typical bravado, "I am getting ready for him when we fight in April '26. In the meantime, he is going to get f*****.", reports All Out Fighting. The British heavyweight's documented antics on Instagram were captioned with: "Just getting ready for @usykaa fight but in the meanwhile ill be at it #livinglife", while peppering the post with an array of chuckling emojis. Usyk addressed the idea of a third scrap with Fury, noting his openness to the showdown even as his reps emphasise an undivided attention on his July 19 clash against Daniel Dubois. Sergey Lapin of Team Usyk clarified their position: "The idea of a third fight with Tyson Fury has been on the table between our teams ever since their second bout. And I have never had any doubt that, together with Goldstar Promotions, we could turn it into a reality." Lapin continued, outlining their immediate priorities: "Right now, both Oleksandr Usyk and our team are fully focused on the upcoming fight with Dubois on July 19 and on achieving the historic goal of becoming a three-time undisputed world champion. As you've probably noticed, focus and total commitment are at the core of the champion's and the team's strategy. When this goal - three-time undisputed - is accomplished, and the dust settles, we'll be open for the next round." Seven months after their highly anticipated rematch, Fury maintains his conviction that he deserved the win. Speaking to journalists in Turkey on Wednesday, he held nothing back: "My last fight was a clear f****** victory for The Gypsy King. Anybody in boxing can see that. A complete load of dogs ***. "I want a fair fight, I don't want any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result. Which I know I didn't [get]. I thought I won it by five rounds. I watched it 250 times. Each way I never see it as a way for him to win. They can do what they want. If they say it's Tuesday it's Tuesday."
