Elon Musk Deletes Epstein Accusation From X Amid Trump Feud
Although Elon Musk has been known to lean on 'free speech' when convenient, the ex-DOGE boss appears to be backpedaling after dropping a major bombshell. Following a heated exchange in which he claimed his former bestie Donald Trump is included in the Jeffrey Epstein files, the X mogul appears to have deleted the loaded post from his own platform. The Tesla CEO previously concluded his stint with DOGE last month. After Trump threw down a gauntlet, Musk responded to his threat to terminate Tesla's government subsidies with the Epstein allegation. 'Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!' he wrote in the since-deleted tweet. 'Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out,' added Musk in another post that has also disappeared from his profile. While it has never been a secret that the late, disgraced billionaire Epstein and Trump were party pals back in the 1990s, Trump always has denied he had anything to do with his convicted friend's penchant for underaged girls. CNN's Dana Bash has since said she's spoken to Trump, who is more 'resigned' than angry at Musk, relaying that he told her, ''I'm not even thinking about Elon. He's got a problem. The poor guy has got a problem.'' 'He says he won't be speaking to him for a while, but he wishes Elon Musk well,' added Bash. 'I'm not participating in any of that conversation,' proclaims a clearly shaken Patel, a person who has supposedly seen the files on the very well-connected pedophile billionaire who died mysteriously in police custody in 2019. Almost from the day Trump returned to power, Attorney General Pam Bondi has promised to release the files, but hasn't. After the ruffle of the Musk vs. Trump blow-up and the Epstein file accusation, Rogan and Patel waste little time diving right back into their mutual safe space of Deep State antics, Hunter Biden laptops, media TDS, and Joe Biden's weaponization of the FBI. 'We're winning this fight!' Patel brags. While proving dismissive of his former bestie and top donor, Trump has not yet responded to Musk's allegations. U.S. Job Growth Stays In Line With Expectations At 139,000 In May Even Amid Federal Workforce Cuts
U.S. job growth slowed slightly in May to 139,000, amid cuts in the federal workforce, and despite an on-again, off-again tariff policy. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.2%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The bureau also revised downward job figures from April and March, shaving off 95,000 jobs from previous estimates. Federal government employment fell by 22,000, and has dropped by 59,000 since January, as the Trump administration has slashed the size of the workforce. But the figures do not include those on paid leave or who are receiving severance. Employment in movies and music production remained largely unchanged, falling by 200 jobs to 409,600 from April. He noted that payrolls grew at an average rate of 135,000 over the past three months, 'a notable slowing.' Jason Furman, professor of economic policy at Harvard, wrote that it was a 'boring jobs report, in a good way.' 'Don't read anything into the jobs growth being lower than it had been last year, with net immigration down so much steady-state employment growth is down,' he wrote. 'Hard to see any adverse impact of tariffs on real economy.'
