These pros suggest ways to make Masters concession item even better
These pros suggest ways to make Masters concession item even better While we won't know for a few more days whether the Masters social media team pulled an April Fools' Day joke with a post on the introduction of the Tomato Pie as a limited-time concession item this year, we did ask Masters participants to name a new concession item that should be added to the menu, and Russell Henley came the closest to the new concoction. He called for Masters pizza to be sold at the concessions stand. In all, there are more than 30 items on the concession menu at the Masters, including breakfast items (served until 10 a.m.), sandwiches, beverages, and snacks. Prices range from $1 for Mini-Moon pies to $6 for white wine. The pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches sell for $1.50 apiece. The Masters is April 10-13 at Augusta National Golf Club, and the Golfweek Masters Surveys are back in 2025. Check out the suggestions below and good luck not getting hungry. (Also, kudos to Gary Player for the most on brand suggestion possible.) Adam Hadwin They should take off the egg salad sandwich. If I'm being perfectly honest, I've never gone to the concession stand at the Masters. Adam Scott Peach cobbler. It's a delicious item on the menu in the clubhouse. That would be a nice item out there. Billy Horschel I don't know much about the concession items. I know they don't cost very much. I know they got pimento cheese sandwiches and they got a few other things. It's in April, so the weather could be cool, but if it was on a warm Augusta week, I think a Root Beer Float would be really good. Brian Harman Do they have a chicken salad? I'd like that. [They do, Harms! It comes on a brioche bun for $3.50.] Collin Morikawa How about a roast beef sandwich with some horseradish aoli. Gary Player Green juice, they need something healthy for energy that fuels the patrons to walk the grounds all day. Harris English There should be a Smashburger. Keegan Bradley Oh, the bacon in the clubhouse is like famous. Kevin Kisner They should sell their Transfusion. Matt Fitzpatrick Grilled pimento cheese sandwich. Matt Kuchar Bucee's brisket sandwiches. I'm a big fan. Rickie Fowler A hot dog would be cool. I feel like that's a golf course staple, going to bare bones, grassroots. 16:31 Russell Henley Masters pizza would be legit. Stewart Cink A double egg salad. Tony Finau I'd like to see a burger dog. That would be incredible and they'd do it right too. Webb Simpson Masters green Gatorade so people can hydrate well. Wyndham Clark A burger dog would be strong. Zach Johnson I love the egg salad. My daughter loves the barbecue. My oldest son eats anything, my middle boy likes the ham. Let's see, I'm from Iowa, so we're gonna go with a nice steak sandwich and corn on the cob.

Augusta National doesn't reveal its members but these golfers tell us about their favorites
Augusta National doesn't reveal its members but these golfers tell us about their favorites This is part of the Golfweek Masters Survey 2025 series Membership has its privileges. And there aren't many places better to roll up to as a member than Augusta National Golf Club. Oh to be one of captains of industry in this famed club. The men — and more recently women — who possess a green jacket in their locker are warm and welcoming during their annual get together that traditionally concludes on the second weekend in April. Bonds are formed with the competitors. So we asked them to name their favorite ANGC member and even though the member ranks are typically shrouded in secrecy, they obliged. The Masters is April 10-13 at Augusta National Golf Club, and the Golfweek Masters Surveys are back in 2025. Here are the latest answers. Adam Scott How many will I upset by naming just one? Doug Mackenzie and I are good buddies. He was invited to join the club the same year that I won the Masters (2013). That's our connection. Gary Player Sam Nunn. He was my favorite member ever because of his wisdom, humility and had such good advice for South Africans to have a prosperous country. Gary Woodland George Roberts is one of my good friends. Jason Day I do miss playing with Bubba Watson. I don't see him much anymore. He's one guy who gives me a lot of crap. [Editor's note: Watson is a two-time Masters champion but is not believed to be a member of the club. Still, we liked the answer so decided to share it anyway.] Justin Thomas I've played the most with Jeff Knox out there but I can't pick one. There are so many. Keegan Bradley Jimmy Dunne. Kevin Kisner I've got a bunch. I'm going to say Rick Pennell, my hunting buddy. Jeff Knox is going to be mad at me for not saying him. Mackenzie Hughes Frank Edwards and Tom Nelson. They're both members at Quail. Frank was my partner at Seminole last year when we won the Pro-Member. Matt Fitzpatrick Michael Miller. He's become a close family friend. Matt Kuchar Dave Dorman has been my host for many years. He's a Georgia Tech alum, been friendly forever, could not have been nicer to me over the years, including taking me on several non-Masters days to go play. Whenever we're there, he is so good at sharing stories of what's going on with Augusta National. He's always been so good at slowing the conversation down so I can comprehend his friends. Rickie Fowler The list is very long. I'm going to have to go with Nick Evans. He is a good friend. I've stayed with him up there. He's local and lives over by the country club. He hosted my dad, my grandpa and me last year ahead of the Masters. I was finally able to take my dad and my grandpa, who is the one who introduced me to golf. We stayed in Butler Cabin and did the whole Augusta experience with them. We played two rounds on the Par 3. I wish we would have done it a little earlier in my career because my grandpa is getting older now but it worked out great. He was able to take a cart and cruise around and basically just teed off from 150 to 200 yards out on every hole. There's a lot of others like Jimmy Dunne. I don't look at him as just an Augusta member. He's kind of everywhere. Tony Finau Rob Light is my guy there. I've been invited by multiple members but he's been very generous to have me and a couple of my friends out every year. Webb Simpson Bobby Long. He is the one who took me and my father to play (the course) in college. He is one of my closest friends. I learned the game with Bobby and his son Robert in Wilmington back in 1994. Wyndham Clark I'll give you two. Johnny Harris and George Solich. Xander Schauffele I don't know any of them that well. But they've all been incredibly kind. Zach Johnson I can't pick one because a lot of them I would call dear friends. But I'll go with a gentleman that was basically my host, like if I brought guests. His name is Jean Howerra, his dad was a member. Jean was from Augusta. He passed away. I'd always see him on the first tee. He would give me a hug at the back of the tee box, he'd always come up and give me a hug. So he would be No. 1 on my list.

Masters survey 2025: Rituals include balcony seat, a beer in lockerroom, egg salad sandwich
Masters survey 2025: Rituals include balcony seat, a beer in lockerroom, egg salad sandwich As Jim Nantz so eloquently put it, the Masters is a tradition unlike any other. But what are some personal traditions that Masters contestants have established through the years. Everyone seems to have created their own. The 2025 Masters is April 10-13 at Augusta National Golf Club and the Golfweek Masters Surveys are back. What is your Masters ritual? That is the question at hand in this survey. Kevin Kisner I always had a chef that I loved. I could come home and eat at my own home and not have to clean up. Best of both worlds. Gary Player Every year, at the top of Magnolia Drive, I say a prayer of thanks for the privilege of being back at this great tournament. It's an honor I never take for granted. Adam Scott I always sit next to Trevor Immelman at the Champions Dinner. That's kind of my deal or our deal. Maybe it's just my deal. Nick Faldo I sit on the corner balcony with my wife and watch the world go by. We love that. We have breakfast and sit and enjoy the view. Danny Willett I always get there on Saturday afternoon and first thing I do is put on my Green Jacket and have a beer in the Champions Locker Room. Stewart Cink I always buy egg salad sandwiches during practice rounds. Webb Simpson I always play with Bubba Watson in the Wednesday Par 3 Contest. Our wives are great friends as well, so, we have such a great time being together. It's my favorite golf day of the year. Tony Finau Making the cut. I've never missed. Hope that continues. Rickie Fowler It's probably food related. I always try and make it a point to get an egg salad BLT. Justin Thomas I have a nice tradition of playing a practice round with Freddie Couples and Tiger Woods. Russell Henley Larry Mize from Columbus, Georgia, always lets me come have lunch with him on Monday or Tuesday in the Champions Locker Room. That's pretty cool. Keegan Bradley When I walk down the 10th hole, I go to the rope line and walk with my wife. She always gets an Azalea, and there's a volunteer over there, same guy every year, and he's from Vermont and we say hello and then enjoy a walk together. Wyndham Clark This is only going to be my second Masters but I love going beforehand and soaking the place in and getting the awe factor out of the way so you can focus on what you're doing. Matt Fitzpatrick I make sure I have an ice cream sandwich. Scottie Scheffler As far as personal traditions go, I usually come in Sunday morning. I typically hand out an award at the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship. That's always a fun thing for me to do and a fun thing that Augusta National does. Then it's tradition on Sunday at the Masters, past champions get to bring a guest to play. I think last year it's been my sisters, and this year I think my mom is going to come play. That day is a good day for me to soak in being back at the Masters, enjoy the memories and have some fun with a family member or close friend and just enjoy the golf course, enjoy the day, before the workweek starts on Monday. I kind of try to get everything out of the way on Sunday and get all the lore and everything that goes with being at Augusta National, kind of get that out of the way and settle into a tournament week.
