Malaika Arora reveals how she became friends with Kareena Kapoor-Karisma Kapoor: ‘It's like sister sister bonding'

Two actresses can never be friends. This is a persistent myth in the Bollywood industry, which rose due to conjecture. But in the past we have witnessed several friendships prove this idea incorrect. One such special bond is shared by the Kapoor sisters and the Arora sisters. We are talking about the glam friendship between Kareena Kapoor Khan, her sister Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora and her sister Amrita Arora. The four gorgeous gals have time and again set BFF goals for fans across the internet with the camaraderie they share. But how did Bebo and Lolo become best friends with fellow star sisters Malla and Amu? Amrita Arora, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Karisma Kapoor In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Malaika Arora revealed that this unbreakable bond began thanks to her sister Amrita Arora aka Amu and Kareena Kapoor Khan, fondly known as Bebo. Malaika shared, 'They did films together. They were very good friends. They have known each other. Back in the day, they had met and connected through common friends. They figured that there was a lot of commonality dono ke beech mei (between them).' For the uninitiated, Amrita and Kareena have worked together in films such as Golmaal Returns (2008) and Kambakkht Ishq (2009). Malaika went on to add, 'I think their friendship just got stronger and stronger. Then both the sisters came in and became part of the two of them. Then we all started. It's literally like sister sister bonding that happened over there.' Kareena, Malaika, Karisma and Amrita's friendship isn't just about cocktail dinners and girls' night outs. The four are always there for each other, no matter what. We witnessed the same last year when Bebo paused the promotions of her film The Buckingham Murders and rushed to Malaika and Amrita's side after their father Anil Mehta passed away. Bebo, Amu, Malla and Lolo are truly BFF goals!

Kapkapiii Box Office Day 1: Shreyas Talpade's Horror Comedy Off To A Slow Start

Last Updated: Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade have previously shared the screen space in Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Again. Kapkapiii, the Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor starrer horror-comedy, has made a lackluster debut at the box office. Released on limited screens, the film couldn't gather much audience despite giving special offers like Buy-One-Get-One for the opening weekend. According to the film minted a total of Rs 26 Lakh Nett India on Day 1. The major reason for the low numbers could be its stiff competition from big projects like Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring RajKummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, as well as Kesari Veer: The Legends of the Somnath, starring Sooraj Pancholi. Some of the other holdover releases, including Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2, Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 8 and Final Destination: Bloodlines, are too big competitors for the horror-comedy due to their exceptional performance on the big screen. However, going by the positive word-of-mouth of the critics and viewers, Kapkapiii is expected to gain momentum in the coming days. Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, the film is an official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Romancham and also features celebs like Siddhi Idani, Jay Thakkar, Sonia Rathee and Varun Pandey in significant roles. Kapkapiii marked Sivan's collaboration with Tusshar after a long gap of 19 years. They had previously worked together in Kya Kool Hain Hum, while the director joined hands with Shreyas Talpade in the 2006 comedy-drama Apna Sapna Money Money. The director lost his life during the making of Kapkapiii, while the film was in post-production. Recently, in a chat with Zoom, Tusshar mourned his demise and said, 'This is a sensitive topic for all of us. We are still in disbelief. The shock and emotional overwhelm are not intended to carry his legacy or memories forward. Unfortunately, he's not here to enjoy the film." The film follows a group of friends who, while experimenting with an Ouija board, unintentionally trigger paranormal activity in their shared home. This results in a series of spooky and hilarious events, blending horror with comedy. Tusshar and Shreyas have previously shared the screen space in Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Again. They will be reuniting again for Welcome…To The Jungle, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and others. First Published:

Celina shuts down ageist stereotypes: ‘I'm here to stay'

Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly took to social media to deliver a powerful message about age, motherhood, and reinvention in the entertainment industry. In a bold, no-filter post, Celina addressed ageism head-on, recounting how she was recently told that after 39, a woman begins to fade in showbiz—even if she looks younger. But instead of letting the remark dim her spirit, Celina clapped back with confidence and facts. Refusing to be defined by age or industry norms, the No Entry actress pointed out how her Instagram reels have racked up over 30 million views—often outperforming the reach of some full-length feature films. She also urged both men and women to reject the idea of being sidelined by age. Celina also opened up about motherhood, saying it didn't slow her down but empowered her to grow and evolve. Emphasizing that every challenge has only made her stronger, she proudly stated that she's rising, evolving, and not going anywhere. On Tuesday, the 'Apna Sapna Money Money' actress took to her Instagram handle to share a photo of herself posing amidst a stunning mountain landscape. Well, here's my response, watch those digits, because they will be great. Some of my Instagram reels have more views than their full-length films at the box office. With reels having reached to phenomenal- 30 million views…Dear Men and women remember you have NOT been sidelined by age.' 'Personally, speaking I've been sharpened by experience. Motherhood didn't pause my journey, it empowered it. Every challenge, every reinvention, has only made me stronger. I'm not done; I've only just begun. I'm evolving, I'm rising, and I'm here to stay. Stronger. Bolder. Unstoppable. I will bring my own chair to the table where there are none for me,' Celina added. Work-wise, Celina Jaitly stepped into Bollywood with Feroz Khan's 2003 film 'Janasheen.' Ajay Devgn pulled out a prank on this actress, went totally wrong and turned out to be..., was rushed to the hospital, she is...

Ajay Devgn often comes across as serious, but those close to him know he has a playful side and loves pulling pranks. He's known as one of the biggest pranksters in Bollywood. Many stars shared funny moments where Ajay fooled them on set. He's not the only one; actors like Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan are also known for their jokes. However, not many people know that one of Ajay's pranks once went wrong and led to a woman being taken to the hospital. According to a past interview shared by India Today, Ajay Devgn once talked about a prank that went wrong. He remembered playing a joke on the wife of one of his co-stars, who had just gotten married. Whenever she came to visit her husband on set, Ajay would tease her by saying her husband was cheating on her. Even though she knew Ajay liked to joke around, she believed him—and sadly, ended up taking some pills. Speaking about the incident later, Ajay admitted it went too far. 'We used to shoot at night. She would meet her husband in the mornings. We would keep feeding the wife that her husband is having an affair. And that, in the night, he goes off somewhere. There are no night shoots! I'd tell her that I return to my room at 10.30 pm. She'd tell me that she's heard all about my pranks. That she trusts her husband. This carried on for eight days. On the ninth day, we woke up and learnt that she had actually taken pills, had to be rushed to the hospital. She'd been fighting with her husband over this, throughout, checking with him on what the hell he'd been up to!' said Ajay Devgn. Director Rohit Shetty and actor Ajay Devgn are well-known for playing pranks together. One time, they teamed up to prank Kareena Kapoor on the set of Golmaal 3. Before Kareena even arrived, they had planned everything. As soon as she got to the set, they began talking about a fake ghost story to scare her. Kareena later shared this funny incident in an interview with India Forums. 'Ajay keeps trying to scare me with stories of a ghost in our hotel. Of course, I get scared by such horror stories and keep yelling at them to stop, but they don't! This hotel is like a khandar with no other habitation outside it and hardly any guests, and it gets a bit scary at times. But I refuse to cower in fright and give them the pleasure of pulling off their pranks!' said Kareena. While filming Golmaal Returns, Ajay Devgn played another prank on Kareena Kapoor. This time, he used fake bombs to scare her. According to someone who was there, Ajay brought green-colored firecrackers that made loud noises. Some of them didn't actually explode but looked very real. He lit one and threw it towards Kareena. Shocked and scared, Kareena screamed and ran off, thinking it was real. At first, everyone around was stunned, but then they burst into laughter. Meanwhile, Ajay kept a straight face the entire time, acting as if nothing had happened.
