Fox 11 (KTTV) reporter Bob DeCastro has been promoted to co-anchor of Good Day LA, the station's morning news program. DeCastro will join the anchor desk for GDLA weekday mornings from 5 to 9 a.m. on Fox 11 and GDLA+, weekday mornings starting at 11 a.m. "Bob's promotion is a big win for the newsroom and for our viewers," said Bobbi Gearhart, VP of News, KTTV. "He brings unparalleled experience, deep community connection, and another dynamic energy to our morning team." DeCastro joined Fox 11 in 2004. Prior to his time in Los Angeles, he reported for Fox's WNYW-TV in New York City. He started his journalism career in San Diego after answering a newspaper ad for a cable TV reporter job. His path in journalism follows a distinguished first career in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Lieutenant aboard a destroyer based in San Diego.

Bezos was also seen leaning over to kiss Sánchez passionately and rubbing her body as they relaxed. Bezos, for his part, kept it casual with a blue short-sleeved shirt, printed swim trunks, and aviator sunglasses. The 55-year-old former Good Day LA co-host appeared to be in high spirits as she seemingly danced on her knees, enjoying her time in the sun. Sanchez's yacht outing followed her bachelorette festivities in Paris, where she partied with friends like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Eva Longoria. The couple is set to marry in June in Venice, Italy, with a star-studded guest list that reportedly includes A-listers like Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and Leonardo DiCaprio. 5.2 magnitude earthquake near San Diego rattles Southern California
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Southern California on Monday. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake was centered south of Julian, Calif., about 55 miles east of San Diego, at a depth of 13.4 km. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Office. People in Southern California received emergency alerts on their phones telling them to "Drop, Cover, Hold On." The National Weather Service in San Diego said in a post on X that the quake was not expected to produce a tsunami. California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been briefed on the earthquake, according to a note on X from his office. It added that state and local authorities were in the process of assessing "any damage and if emergency response is needed.' The earthquake could be felt as far north as Los Angeles. The hosts of Fox's Good Day LA said the lights shook in the studio. The Los Angeles Fire Department said that it was in "earthquake mode," with personnel from all 105 of its fire stations conducting damage assessments across the city. "This process typically takes less than one hour," it said.
