Akron Children's announces new mobile unit
SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley made an announcement Thursday morning at the Regional Chamber's Good Morning! Mahoning breakfast.

The popular event was held at The Lake Club, where business professionals gathered to hear updates on what is happening across the Valley.
Akron Children's is starting a mobile unit this summer, courtesy of Ronald McDonald's House.
'This is a room mobile clinic which will allow Akron Children's to go out in the community and find those pockets of areas of children that we see for vaccines, school physicals, regular check-ups, sports physicals and things like that,' said Paul Oliver, vice president.
Mahoning County commissioners also gave an overview of important news.
Several other businesses gave updates, including Mill Creek MetroParks Executive Director Aaron Young — his first since 2018.
