Sold-out thrifting party bus rolling into town Sunday
A party bus dedicated to thrift shopping is coming to town.
Goodwill's thrifting tour bus is back by popular demand for the fourth year in both Edmonton and Calgary on Aug. 17 in honour of National Thrifting Day.
The bus takes avid thrifters on a tour that stops at four stores for shopping between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. It also provides lunch and hosts activities during travel time.
This year's tickets sold out in nine minutes, said a release on Thursday.
Dale Monaghan, president and CEO of Goodwill Alberta, said the bus is a great way to support second-hand shopping and Goodwill's mission of helping those with disabilities to find meaningful employment.
'We are truly excited to see the community come together,' he said in the release.
