Google Pixel 10 launch timeline Google is preparing to reveal its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. If the brand sticks to its typical schedule, the smartphones should be released in August. While the business has not provided any details about the future smartphones, they will most likely be incremental advancements over their predecessors. A recent leak has revealed some details about the Google Pixel 10. Google Pixel 10 expected specifications Google anticipates minor tweaks to the Pixel smartphone portfolio while maintaining its characteristic look. However, the basic Pixel 10 is expected to keep the same matte surface on the back panel and a trademark camera bar. However, a recent report stated that the phone may include a third camera sensor, which would be a substantial boost from the standard Pixel 9's two rear cameras. Google has used its bespoke Tensor chipset in Pixel phones for the past few years. The Pixel 10 family is rumoured to include a "Tensor G5" chipset and new AI functions this year. However, it is unknown what will premiere. In addition, the handset's predecessor may have provided high PWM dimming. Although this may not seem a big deal, it dramatically reduces eye strain. Here's my favorite smartphone deal right now: Google Pixel 9

C. Scott Brown / Android Authority All those fancy new premium phones are exciting, but I am not that hyped up about paying a grand or more for them. Especially when there are plenty of great phones for much less, especially if you can take advantage of a deal like this one. If I were to buy a phone today, I would spend my hard-earned cash on a Google Pixel 9, which you can currently get for just $599. Buy the Google Pixel 9 for just $599 ($200 off) This offer is available from Amazon. The discount applies to all color versions available. These include Obsidian, Peony, Porcelain, and Wintergreen. Google Pixel 9 Google Pixel 9 The vanilla Pixel 9. The Pixel 9 rocks a 6.3-inch display, Tensor G4 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and at least 128GB of internal storage. See price at Amazon Save $200.00 Many of you will argue that the Google Pixel 9a is a better deal. The thing is, Google's budget phone is not on sale, and it is only $100 less than the standard Google Pixel 9. At $599, we would recommend upgrading to the Pixel 9. For starters, the Google Pixel 9 is still considered a high-end phone. It is actually in our list of the best Android phones. It is just the smaller, less expensive model in the Pixel 9 series. It lacks some of the bells and whistles the bigger brothers tout, but it is still an awesome device, and many of you may not even need those added capabilities. This handset checks most of the boxes that make a high-end smartphone. It has a really nice, sleek design, featuring an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 construction. It also keeps that IP68 rating many of you really care for, as it offers some peace of mind, knowing it is both dust and water resistant. C. Scott Brown / Android Authority Pixel 9 Additionally, the Google Pixel 9 is no slouch. It packs the same Google Tensor G4 chipset found in the other Pixel 9 series smartphones. It also comes with 12GB of RAM, which is plenty to keep most users happy. You would really have to push it to its limits to see a difference, and most of you won't. The display is certainly smaller at 6.3 inches, but it also isn't tiny, and some of us happen to like smaller phones. That said, it is still a quality OLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also doesn't get the same battery life as its bigger brothers, but we were still able to make it last about a whole day per charge. It can charge at up to 27W, which means it will get from zero to 100% in about 85 minutes. Furthermore, it also has a pretty good camera. Pixels have long been known for being some of the best camera phones, and while this one isn't as good as the Pixel 9 Pro models in this department, it still shoots really nice photos. It has a 50MP primary camera and a 48MP ultrawide shooter. C. Scott Brown / Android Authority Pixel 9 If you need more convincing, the Google Pixel 9 gets among the best upgrade promises in the industry. Google has given it a seven-year update commitment, which is only matched by Samsung. At $599, you really can't go wrong with such a good phone. That's a $200 discount on one of the top industry favorite smartphones! Catch this deal while you can. For $599, it's hard to match all the value the Google Pixel 9 offers. Again, this is a record-low price we've only seen once in the past, in March. We don't see the price dropping lower anytime soon, so take advantage of this sale while you can! It's still a record-low price, so we've never seen a better price on it. Extra deal: You can upgrade to the Pixel 9 Pro for $799 Google Pixel 9 Pro Google Pixel 9 Pro All Pro, in a compact package. The Google Pixel 9 Pro is the Pixel device many have been begging for for a long time: Google's very best smartphone hardware and software features, in a more compact form factor. With identical dimensions to the regular Pixel 9, it retains the same great specs as the much larger XL model, plus 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of internal storage, and the Tensor G4 chipset. See price at Amazon Save $200.00 Limited Time Deal! If you really want a higher-end experience, the Google Pixel 9 Pro is also $200 off, bringing the cost down to $799. It's not a bad deal. The experience will be pretty similar, but there are some upgrades you may like. The biggest difference is that it has 16GB of RAM, giving you better multitasking capabilities. This device also gets an extra 48MP periscope shooters, and autofocus is a bit better thanks to multi-zone laser support. The selfie camera is also upgraded to a 42MP camera, instead of the 10.5MP one found in the Pixel 9. Additionally, wireless charging is faster at 21W, instead of 15W. Everything else will pretty much be the same.

Sky drops Google Pixel 9 to 'lowest price' amid huge Android update news

Sky is giving shoppers their cheapest price for the Google phone just as the new Android 16 software is being showcased. While Google is hosting their annual I/O conference in California this week, Sky has made the bold move of dropping the Google Pixel 9 down to their "lowest price". Android fans have waited in anticipation for the I/O conference, as it showcases exciting product launches, innovations and insights. However this year, fans of the event were delighted to hear that the tech giant is making some major updates on future Google Gemini and Android software. Google went as far to reveal some interesting new features for Android 16, which is the upcoming software that powers Google smartphones. One key update will actually change how Pixel phones look and operate with the 'Material 3 Expressive', reports the Express. Google claims this change will make using the phone feel more fluid and personal with "springy animations" and dynamic customisable colour themes. With Android 16 set to be rolled out to Google Pixel smartphones in June, some mobile providers have made the move to drop the prices of several models so users can experience the latest upgrade in Android software for a bargain price. One key brand in this move is Sky Mobile, who have placed several phones in the Google Pixel 9 series on special deals. They have even said "our lowest price is back" as they drop the price of the original Pixel 9 down to £24 a month. On top of this, the provider is giving new customers six months of Google One Premium 2 TB plan and Fitbit premium, as well as three months of Youtube Premium. However, the fine print is that customers will need to enter a 36-month contract with Sky. Google Pixel 9 £24 per month Sky Buy Now Product Description This price will also boost a bit more once shoppers have added a data plan on top, which ranges from £0 for 100MB to £20 for unlimited - now making the package £44 per month if shoppers want access to endless data. It should also be noted that this is not the cheapest way long term to buy the Pixel 9 smartphone, as Amazon has cut the full price of the phone down to £561.96 from a whopping £799 - saving shoppers over £230. In comparison to Sky's basic monthly deal without the added data, Amazon's current deal works out to be £302 cheaper over the lifespan of the plan. Sky is also holding other deals in the Pixel 9 series, including dropping the Pixel 9 Pro to £27 per month and the Pixel 9 Pro XL to a monthly cost of £34. However, the best deal is on the newest addition to the series - the Pixel 9a - which is priced at only £18 a month. The Pixel 9a was designed to be the more budget friendly version of the standard Pixel 9, and was described by deputy tech editor Henry Burrell as the "best A-series phone yet". However, for those who are interested in Pixel 9, it currently boasts a 4.4 star rating on Amazon, with one shopper dubbing it as "virtually flawless". One happy shopper said: "The picture quality is top shelf, quality is perfect, functionality is fluid, it meets the value for money, possesses lightning speed and size is portable." Another added: "Incredible AI tech, especially in the photo editing department. Tensor 4 chip is more than snappy enough and along with 12gb RAM and 120hz display keeps everything buttery smooth. Guaranteed SEVEN years of OS and security updates. Plus it looks gorgeous and feels super premium in the hand. Google's best Pixel phone to date. What's not to like?" However, another shopper wasn't as impressed, as they wrote: "Battery life [is] good, size is all right but the bezels are quite big. It's a decent price but one issue is the Bluetooth keeps reconnecting randomly which is frustrating as someone that uses Bluetooth earphones all the time." Despite this, a third five-star reviewer detailed: "This phone has been virtually flawless. It has a solid construction similar to an iPhone and a clean clutter free OS with no bloatware. "This is a lot of phone for your money, even sporting a 120mhz display. One plus is having both a fingerprint scanner and a Face ID equivalent. It does have a plastic back, but it feels premium, and a lot of phone for the money." A further shopper also praised: "The perfect size at 6.3' and all the benefits of Pixel in a cheaper package. Great display, bigger battery, good cameras, smooth and responsive." For those wanting to snap up Sky Mobile's deal on the Pixel 9, click HERE. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
