Moto G86 gets certified on its way to launch
The upcoming Moto G86 was showcased in leaked official-looking renders back in April, and then, earlier this month, its full spec sheet got outed as well. So it's clearly coming soon, this one - and to further prove that point, it's now been EEC certified in Europe, as well as MIIT and 3C certified in China. Last year, the Moto G85 was sold under that name in global markets and as the Motorola S50 Neo in China, so we wouldn't be surprised at all if the same thing happens again this year with the G86 being offered in China as the S60 Neo. Moto G86 leaked renders The MIIT certification clarifies that the device will have a 6,720 mAh battery in China but only a 5,200 mAh battery elsewhere. According to previous rumors, the G86 will have a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with "1.5K" resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 4,500-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i on top. It will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. On the rear will be a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. The device will launch running Android 15. A pricing leak from March told us to expect the G86 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage to be priced at €330 in the Eurozone.
