‘South Park' Doesn't Say A Single Word In Its Hilariously Petty Response To Kristi Noem

'South Park' has pulled a move that could cause Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to utter, 'You bastards!' The long-running animated series, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has responded to Noem's complaints about its portrayal of her in last week's episode, titled 'Got a Nut.' But instead of taking a more traditional route, like releasing a statement, members of the 'South Park' social media team opted for a much pettier response. They used an image of Noem in 'Got a Nut,' which shows the MAGA loyalist's face melting, and made it the profile photo for the show's social media accounts. 'Got a Nut,' which was the second episode of Season 27, was extremely critical of Noem. It bashed her and President Donald Trump's cruel and extreme immigration policies while also having a lot of fun reminding viewers of Noem's dog-killing scandal. It also featured an ongoing joke in which Noem's face would randomly melt off her body, prompting a team of stylists to rush in and fix it by giving her Botox. And it's the knock to Noem's vanity — and not the portrayal of her values — that really seemed to miff the former South Dakota governor. 'It never ends. But it's so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. It's always the liberals and extremists [who] do that,' Noem told pundit Glenn Beck on his podcast last Thursday about her depiction in 'South Park.' 'If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that,' Noem added. 'But clearly, they can't. They just pick something petty like that.' 'South Park' did, however, skewer how Noem does her job. In the episode, her 'South Park' avatar goes as far as raiding a family-friendly 'Dora the Explorer' performance and even goes to heaven to detain Latinos to meet Trump's quota for immigrant arrests. And though Noem said only 'liberals and extremists' attack women for their looks, Trump himself has a long history of belittling women for their appearance, casually calling them 'horseface' and 'pig.' The show's decision to make Noem's melting face its new profile pic is also a jab at the Republican's love of social media. Ever since Noem became homeland security secretary, she has made a point of posting clips of herself spewing racist rhetoric about migrants while dolled up and wearing an on-the-nose costume. But her melting face on 'South Park' social media platforms is the show's reminder that despite Noem's efforts to make Trump's immigration crackdown palatable, more and more Americans are finding the policies straight-up ugly. New Paramount CEO lauds South Park creators for being ‘equal opportunity offenders'

Paramount's new CEO David Ellison lauded animated show 'South Park' creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, for being 'equal opportunity offenders' as the sitcom has made headlines mocking President Trump recently. 'Matt and Trey are incredibly talented,' Ellison said in an interview with CNN that was published on Friday. 'They are equal opportunity offenders and always have been.' Paramount and Skydance formalized their $8 billion merger on Thursday after months of debate, bringing 'South Park' and other entities such as CBS and MTV under Ellison's ownership. Previous Paramount owners agreed in early July to pay $16 million to the president's future presidential library after Trump sued over a '60 Minutes' interview with former Vice President Harris. 'South Park' has not shied away from mocking the current administration and its policies, leveling jabs against Trump, Vice President Vance and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem. During the latest episode, titled 'Got a Nut,' the show made fun of Noem's looks and mocked the immigration raids conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In response, Noem said the show's depiction of her was 'lazy,' arguing it was a pattern of making fun of women for 'how they look.' The White House has also previously fired back at 'South Park,' claiming the show has been irrelevant for over two decades. Ellison on Thursday said that he was not involved with CBS' settlement. 'I do not want to politicize our company in any way, shape or form,' Ellison told CNN when asked if he agreed separately to broadcast causes that are aligned with the current administration.

'Petty': DHS secretary Kristi Noem slams 'South Park' after episode mocks her appearance; portrays her as botox-obsessed ICE agent

US homeland security secretary Kristi Noem (Image credits: AP) US department of homeland security secretary Kristi Noem hit back at South Park's humour as 'lazy' and 'petty' after the long-running animated show mocked her appearance in a latest episode. The episode, titled 'Got a Nut', aired Wednesday night and portrayed Noem's Botox wearing off. She is depicted as a glammed-up ICE agent who loves Botox, kills puppies, and arrests anyone who is Hispanic. Noem said she hasn't seen it, explaining she was too busy 'going over budget numbers and stuff.' 'It never ends, but it's so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look,' Noem, 53, said Thursday on Glenn Beck's podcast as quoted by The New York Post. 'It's always the liberals and the extremists who do that. If they wanted to criticise my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can't, they just pick something petty like that.' The episode aired just a day after Homeland Security used an image from the show to promote ICE recruitment. 'We want to thank 'South Park' for drawing attention to ICE law enforcement recruitment: We are calling on patriotic Americans to help us remove murderers, gang members, pedophiles, and other violent criminals from our country,' the agency said. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like They Are Unstoppable: The Most Beautiful and Talented Female Athletes Undo 'Benefits available to new ICE recruits include an up to $50,000 signing bonus, student loan forgiveness, and retirement benefits,' it added, as cited by The New York Post. Noem is one of several Trump administration officials featured in the show's 27th season. US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance also appear in the second episode, which shows a miniature Vance waiting on his 'boss' Trump while he's in bed with Satan. The White House has previously condemned South Park as 'irrelevant' and accused its creators of seeking attention after a string of episodes targeting Trump and his administration.

Noem on ‘South Park' portrayal: ‘So lazy'

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem blasted Comedy Central's 'South Park' for its depiction of her, calling it 'lazy' and part of a pattern of making fun of women for 'how they look.' Noem said during her Thursday appearance on Glenn Beck's podcast that she did not watch the episode, titled 'Got a Nut,' saying she was going over 'budget numbers and stuff.' 'But you know, I just think it's — yeah, it never ends. But it's so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. Only the liberals and the extremists do that,' the DHS chief said. 'If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can't, they just pick something petty like that.' South Park has repeatedly gone after Trump and his administration since its new season launched. The new season coincided with a billion-dollar deal between the show and Paramount that will keep it on the air, and controversy as CBS announced it was canceling 'The Late Show' hosted by Steven Colbert. Skydance and Paramount also just completed a deal in which the former is purchasing the latter. The sitcom's latest episode mocked President Trump, Vice President Vance and Noem, along with the immigration operations conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The episode is focused on a character named Mr. Mackey, who loses his job at an elementary school and eventually joins ICE. At the orientation for his new role, he watched a demonstration video where Noem, depicted with heavy makeup and hair extensions, shoots and kills multiple dogs. 'South Park' was referencing the revelation last year that Noem had shot her dog Cricket, a pet she characterized as 'dangerous.' The incident was included in her book. Noem on 'South Park' is portrayed leading an immigration raid on a 'Dora the Explorer' live concert, where she again shoots at a dog. Later, another raid takes place in heaven where she instructs ICE agents to 'only detain the brown ones.' The DHS head has been criticized over her appearances at ICE field operations, even from some commentators on the right, including Megyn Kelly. Kelly in April praised Noem for doing a 'great job' as DHS secretary, but argued the former South Dakota governor should stop photo-ops while visiting DHS agents and others in the field. 'Why does she have to keep doing this? She's doing a great job, her actual performance as DHS secretary, in my view, anyway, has been amazing,' Kelly said at the time. 'Just stop trying to glamorize the mission and put yourself in the middle of it as you cosplay ICE agent, which you're not. I can't stand these photo-ops.'

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Secretary of Homeland Security Kirsti Noem responded to South Park mocking her on its latest episode. "It's so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. It's only the liberals and the extremists who do that," she told The Glenn Beck Program podcast. "If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can't," she added. "They just pick something petty like that." In Wednesday night's episode, called "Got a Nut," Noem's Botox ran out and made fun of her for shooting her own dog. Her character runs an orientation session for new ICE recruits and tells them: "A few years ago, I had to put my puppy down by shooting it in the face, because sometimes doing what's important means doing what's hard." She is then shown shooting several dogs. President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance were also portrayed in the show, with Vance responding in a post on X saying: "Well, I've finally made it." It comes after a spat between South Park and the White House over whether the show is "relevant." This is a developing story - more to follow.
