President's police medal for Bhor SDPO and other Pune officers for meritorious service
Pune: The central govt on the eve of the Independence Day announced the name of Pimpri Chinchwad police's former assistant commissioner of police Rajendrasingh Gour, currently posted with Pune rural police, as one of the recipients of the President's Police Medal. Other recipients of medals for meritorious service are Pune police's assistant sub-inspector Sanjay Kshirsat, three Pune fire brigade personnel — Subhash Jadhav, Chhagan More, and Ramchandra Gosavi, State Reserve Police Force's Group 1 assistant commandant Ramesh Vhetkar, and group VIII inspector Oharsingh Patole. Pune rural police's Baramati sub divisional police officer (SDPO) Sudarshan Rathod, Daund division's SDPO Bapurao Dadas, Shirur police inspector Sandesh Kenjale, control room inspector Kishore Dhumal, Baramati city police inspector Satish Raut, and Shirur police sub-inspector Hanumant Nakhate will receive state director general of police insignia medal for carrying out operations against Naxalites while on deputation in Gondia.
