SSC advanced supply exam hall tickets released
Hyderabad: The Director of Government Examinations, Telangana, announced on Tuesday that hall tickets for the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, scheduled to begin on June 3, have been uploaded on the official website, Officials stated that candidates should contact their respective headmasters to pay the examination fee and collect their hall tickets. A total of 42,832 students (26,286 boys and 16,546 girls) will be appearing for the SSC and OSSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations in June 2025, across 150 examination centres in the State. Hall tickets along with printed nominal rolls have been dispatched to all schools, and students are required to collect their hall tickets from their respective headmasters.

Advanced Suppl Exams from June 3
The Director said the advanced supplementary exams are scheduled from June 3 to 13 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Students who failed in one or more subjects in the public examinations should pay examination fees on or before May 16. Candidates should pay a late fee of Rs 50, which is up to two days before the commencement of the examinations in their subjects concerned. Students, who wanted recounting or reverification, should pay Rs 500 per subject within 15 days from the date of publication of results. They can also apply for recounting of marks directly to the office of the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana.

SSC results: Telangana records 92.78% pass rate, girls excel
Telangana's girls have done it again. Proving their academic mettle, girl students outperformed boys in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) public examinations 2025, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. Of the 5,09,564 registered candidates, 5,07,107 appeared for the exams held from March 21 to April 3, including 10,733 private candidates. Regular candidates recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.78%, while private candidates achieved a pass rate of 57.22%, according to the director of Government Examinations. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Education Secretary Yogita Rana, released the results in a brief ceremony at Ravindra Bharati. Running nearly 90 minutes behind schedule, the SSC results were finally made accessible to students around 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday via the official websites — and The login password was quietly shared with the press, marking the release with a brief and largely symbolic gesture. Director of School Education E.V. Narsimha Reddy noted that the overall pass percentage had improved from 91.31 last year to 92.78 this year. Telangana's residential schools led the way with a remarkable 98.79% pass rate, while institutions run by the BC, Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Minority, Model, Ashram, and KGBV departments recorded a success percentage higher than the State average. The DGE's tabulated report offered deeper insights into this year's SSC performance. Among 1,306 students with special needs who appeared for the exams, 93.57% cleared them. Of the 11,554 schools across Telangana, 4,629 recorded a perfect 100% pass rate. Mahabubabad district topped the charts with a stellar 99.29% pass rate, while Vikarabad fell to the bottom with just 73.97%. Among districts with the highest number of examinees, Medchal (47,235 students) posted a 90.76% pass rate, Hyderabad (73,911) stood at 88.53% and Ranga Reddy (51,671) at 87.84%. The data also revealed a clear medium-wise trend: students writing the exam in English performed the best with a 94.01% pass rate, followed by those in other regional languages (92.21%), Urdu (87.72%), and Telugu (83.46%). English remained the dominant choice, with over 4.35 lakh students — nearly 88% — opting for it as their medium of instruction. Unlike the past few years, in the memorandum of marks, the DGE issued subject-wise internal marks, external marks, total marks and overall result, along with subject-wise result and subject-wise grades. Only grades were awarded for co-curricular activities such as physical education, value education & life skills, arts & culture, and work & computer education. The SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations will be conducted between June 3 and June 13, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The last date for paying the required fee to headmasters concerned is May 16. Students can also apply for recounting of marks at ₹500 per subject by May 15, directly at the office of the DGE, Hyderabad. The DGE said students seeking re-verification of their subjects can apply online through their school headmaster by paying ₹1,000 per subject. Re-verification includes re-totalling of marks, checking if all answers have been evaluated and correctly recorded, and evaluating any unmarked responses. Those applying for re-verification do not need to apply separately for recounting.

Girls outshine boys in SSC public exams
Vijayawada: Over 4.5 lakh students cleared the Secondary School Certificate (10th standard) examination this year, registering an overall pass percentage of 81.14 per cent, with girls outperforming boys. Parvathipuram Manyam district recorded the highest pass percentage in the state with success rate of 93.90 per cent. More than 6.1 lakh students appeared for the examination, including three lakh girls and over 3.1 lakh boys. Over 84 per cent of girls and over 78 per cent of boys passed the exam. The pass percentage of girls surpassed that of boys by 5.78 per cent. HRD Minister Nara Lokesh announced the results of the examinations on Wednesday on social media platform X. He congratulated the students on achieving excellent results. The SSC Public Examinations were held from March 17 to April 1, 2-25. The Spot Valuation of answer scripts was carried out at 26 evaluation camps across the State from April 3 to 9. Parvathipuram Manyam district, which topped the state with 93.90 per cent, was followed by Dr B R Ambedkar Konaseema district with pass percentage of 91.43. Visakhapatnam stood third with success of 89.14 percent. Guntur and Anakapalli districts got fourth and fifth place with pass percentage of 88.53 and 88.44 respectively. Alluri Sitaramaraju district got the last place with 47.64 per cent and Kurnool district got the 25th place with 66.01 per cent. This year, 1,680 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass and 19 schools reported zero pass. English medium students performed the best, with a pass rate of 83.19 per cent, said K Srinivasulu Reddy, Director of Government Examinations. For the first time, the results were released simultaneously through multiple platforms - Mana Mitra (WhatsApp Governance Initiative), LEAP Mobile Application and the officials results portal The SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, 2025 are scheduled from May 5, 2025 to 28. Examination fee payments can be made through HM Login at from April 24 to 30. Candidates who wish to apply for recounting or reverification of answer scripts may do so online from April 24 to May 1. Digitally signed Migration Certificates will be available for download to Head Masters via the official website four days after the results are declared, for candidates who opted for the certificate during the application process. These should be issued to the students along with their subject-wise marks memos. The original SSC Pass Certificates will be dispatched to schools in due course.

More than 6.1 lakh students appeared for the examination, including three lakh girls and over 3.1 lakh boys. According to an official press release on Monday, over 84 per cent of girls and over 78 per cent of boys passed the exams. The pass rate of girls surpassed that of boys by 5.78 per cent. 'Parvathipuram Manyam district topped the list with a 93.90 per cent pass, while Alluri Sitharama Raju district recorded the lowest at 47.64 per cent,' K Srinivasulu Reddy, Director of Government Examinations said in the release. This year, 1,680 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass and 19 schools reported zero pass. English medium students performed the best, with a pass rate of 83.19 per cent, the release added. The exams were held from March 17 to 31, 2025.
