In celebration of women's month, Hirsch's Waterfall confidently hosted a successful business networking event on August 15, uniting dynamic businesswomen, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
The event, themed: Embrace Femininity: Unlock Your Potential, was a bold statement honouring the strength, grace, and potential of women in business. It served as an essential platform for sharing inspiring stories, exchanging innovative ideas, and building lasting connections.

Close to 20 attendees engaged in inspiring talks from influential female leaders, participated in interactive networking sessions, and explored a vibrant marketplace showcasing impressive women-led brands. They also had the opportunity to discover hair care products available in the store.
Rethabile Kau, Hirsch's public relations officer, emphasised the importance of embracing femininity and unlocking the true potential of women in the workplace. 'Often, industries, particularly entrepreneurship, are dominated by men. It's essential to shed those masculine traits and embrace your true self. Today's event is about channelling the boss lady within you, rather than conforming to a male archetype. It's about recognising the strength in softness. The brands participating align perfectly with women's month, and I'm thrilled about that.'
Kau highlighted that events like this are crucial for building a strong community and empowering women.
Among the speakers was Mahlodi Kgatle, a renowned public speaking coach and founder of Speakingdom, who encouraged women to be bold and realise their potential. 'I was nominated for awards for excelling in my field, yet I felt a nagging sense of discontent. I was showing up, but something was still lacking. Today, I urge you to reach for your full potential as women stepping into your power.
'All of us face challenges that can feel overwhelming, as if we're carrying the weight of the world. However, we must remain focused on being purpose-driven individuals. If the burdens we carry hinder us from fulfilling our true purpose, then we are missing the mark. It's crucial to embrace our beauty and strength, to feel capable of conquering the world, while ensuring we're aligned with our mission.'
