These are all the fall 2025 music acts and performances coming to The Big E

Editor's Note: This story will be updated as more music acts and performances are announced and confirmed for The Big E. The Big E is fast approaching and the annual fair's extensive list of performance acts is filling out, from a host of notable names playing the fair's largest stage to dozens of local and up-and-coming acts set to play at smaller fairground stages. The Big E has been slowly announcing its fall musical act lineup over the past several months, revealing one headliner band or performer after another. Here's the complete list of musical acts you can check out when The Big E returns this fall to the Eastern States Exposition fairgrounds in West Springfield from Friday Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 28. These performances begin at 7:30 each night at the Big E Arena: Gov't Mule with JJ Grey & Mofro — Friday, Sept. 12 Busta Rhymes & Rick Ross — Saturday, Sept. 13 Cole Swindell with John Morgan — Sunday, Sept. 14 TLC with Big Boi — Friday, Sept. 19 The Avett Brothers — Saturday, Sept. 20 Foreigner — Sunday, Sept. 21 The Kid LAROI — Friday, Sept. 26 Train — Saturday, Sept. 27 ZZ Top — Sunday, Sept. 28 Tickets are available for sale through The Big E's website, and they include admission to the fair when bought online ahead of the performances. The Big E noted concerts will take place rain or shine, but with possible performance delays if thunderstorms pose a risk. The performances on The Court of Honor Stage come with the price of admission to the fair, meaning guests do not have to pay more to see these acts — with the exception of certain premium seating options. Whiskey Cherrybomb — Saturday, Sept. 13 at 12:30 p.m. House of Hamill — Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8:30 p.m. Daily performances will occur at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 12:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday during the fair's 17-day run. Each performance will be an hour-and-a-half long. The performances on The E Stage come with the price of admission to the fair, meaning guests do not have to pay more to see these acts. Joe Bonamassa to Headline and Curate Florida's Sound Wave Beach Weekend

Blues legend and guitar hero Joe Bonamassa has teamed up with concert promotion and destination event organizer Topeka for Sound Wave Beach Weekend, a three-day music getaway taking place from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12, 2026 on Miramar Beach, Fla. After hosting nearly a dozen sea-based expeditions, Bonamassa is bringing his cultural road show to land with a number of top tier acts including Gov't Mule, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, JJ Grey & Mofro, Grace Potter, Little Feat, Larkin Poe, Samantha Fish, Joanne Shaw Taylor, and Robert Jon & The Wreck. Sound Wave takes place in a 5,500-capacity open air venue located a few minute walk from guests' lodging, allowing fans to 'spend the day under the sun at the beach and nights under the stars with their favorite artists,' according to the release. Bonamassa's festival announcement comes weeks before the release of his new studio album, Breakthrough, July 18 via J&R Adventures. He's also announced a number of new U.S. dates at amphitheater, before heading out on the Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea cruise to Alaska in September. Southern Rock jam band Gov't Mule will open The Big E's largest stage with a headlining performance on the first night of the fair's 2025 run. Gov't Mule will bring their 'Back in the Saddle Tour' to West Springfield on Friday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets and VIP packages to the concert will be made available for public sale starting Friday, June 20, at 10 a.m. through The Big E's website. Tickets bought ahead of the show date include admission to The Big E on the date of the concert. Gov't Mule, active since 1994, has 'galvanized a global fan base' over three decades, The Big E said. The Grammy-nominated band is led by guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer Warren Haynes, alongside drummer Matt Abts, bassist Kevin Scott, and keyboardist, guitarist and backing vocalist Danny Louis. The band has more than 20 studio and live albums in its discography.
