CBB opens applications for its first graduate development program 'GP15'
Manama, Bahrain: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that registration is now open for the first edition of its Graduate Development Program 'GP15.' The initiative supports the CBB's ongoing commitment to empowering Bahraini youth, in line with its priorities to foster innovation, digital transformation, and build a skilled, future-ready workforce. The program targets Bahrainis who have graduated from local and international universities within the last two years with a Bachelor's degree in any specialization, and a minimum GPA of 3.25. As part of the first edition of the program, 15 candidates will be selected through a comprehensive evaluation process including an aptitude test and interviews, to ensure the participants are the best fit for the program. Selected graduates will take part in a six-month internship opportunity, where they will work across various functions within the CBB, and engage in practical workplace simulations. Participants will also attend workshops and site visits aimed at strengthening their analytical skills, financial literacy, and understanding of banking strategies. Commenting on the occasion, Mrs. Fatema Mohamed Ali, Director of Human Resources at CBB and Program Manager, said: 'We encourage ambitious Bahraini graduates to take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop their careers in the financial services sector. This program reflects the CBB's dedication to investing in national talent and preparing future leaders who will drive industry growth and innovation.' Diriyah program to empower, upskill local community
RIYADH: The fifth Diriyah Graduate Development Program has been launched to equip local talent with essential skills and knowledge to assist in the transformation of the location and the Kingdom. As a part of its efforts to empower and upskill the Diriyah community, the program focuses on personal and professional development while fostering a connection to the operating firm's values, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Launched by Diriyah Co., the program offers graduates an educational experience enhanced through collaboration with experts, consultants, and management institutes. It is designed for bachelor's and master's graduates with up to one year of experience. Aligned with the goals of Vision 2030, participants will build both behavioral and technical skills, paving the way for strong career prospects in a dynamic work environment, the SPA reported. The program includes competitive monthly stipends, housing and transportation allowances, health insurance, and social insurance registration. Participants will also have opportunities for secondments with leading consulting firms, international training at renowned educational institutions, and paid annual leave. Since its launch, the program has benefited 101 graduates, with nearly 30,000 applications received across four editions, the SPA reported. Participants gain hands-on experience by rotating through key departments including finance, marketing, human resources, legal affairs, and governance. They also receive specialized training in fields including data management, cybersecurity, and risk management. Registration for the program is now open and will remain available until April 13. Through this initiative, Diriyah Co. continues to invest in its community, nurturing the next generation of leaders and supporting the Kingdom's progress, the SPA reported.
