After more than 15 years of lighting up screens with memorable performances, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is entering a new chapter in her career, one shaped by clarity, wellness, and a deliberate sense of choice. In a recent conversation with Grazia India , the actress revealed that she has consciously decided to step back from the relentless pace of work and focus only on projects that truly resonate with admitted that she no longer rushes through multiple films at once, instead giving herself the space to protect her physical and mental wellbeing. 'I no longer shoot five films at a time. One thing I've realised is that I need to listen to my body, so I've reduced the amount of work I do. But now everything I do and put my energy into matters so much more. Nothing is for the heck of it. The quantity may have reduced, but the quality of projects has definitely increased,' she told Grazia mindful shift, as she explained, is not about doing less but about doing better, ensuring that each role reflects her passion and the professional front, Samantha recently made a cameo in the Telugu film Subham, which also marked her debut as a producer under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. Before that, audiences saw her in Citadel: Honey Bunny , the high-octane Amazon Prime Video series by Raj and DK, where she starred alongside Varun Dhawan in a gripping spy ahead, Samantha is preparing to return to the action space with Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom , another ambitious project helmed by Raj and DK. The series, currently in production, boasts a stellar cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi , and Jaideep Ahlawat, and is expected to premiere in her early days in cinema to becoming one of the most recognisable names in Indian entertainment, Samantha has consistently reinvented herself. Now, with wellness and intentionality at the heart of her choices, she is redefining what success means on her own terms. As she told Grazia India, every project going forward is not just a role, but a reflection of her deeper journey, one where quality, balance, and purpose take centre stage.
