Young man, 18, killed after rollover Mackay

An 18-year-old boy has been killed in a car crash west of Mackay.
Emergency crews responded to reports of a single car rollover on Mount Martin Gap Rd in Mount Martin at 6.30 on Wednesday.
Police said the boy's vehicle 'left the roadway and rolled a number of times'.
The teen was the only person in the car, and was declared deceased at the scene.
He is the fifth teenager to be killed in a crash near Mackay since July 18.
Liam Doumergue, T-Jay Petrass and Eleanor Cunington — all 19 – were coming home from a night of tenpin bowling when they crashed into a Great Wall Ute around 10:30pm Friday, July 18, on the Mackay Ring Road.
Liam and T-Jay were lifelong best friends who were farewelled in a shared funeral service, their coffins laid side-by-side.
Their friend Eleanor was reconnecting with them after spending a year abroad on the night of the fatal crash.
Andrew 'Drew' Lelliott, 18, was the passenger in a Toyota HiLux when it left the Peak Downs Highway and crashed into a power pole near the turn off to Moranbah about 11.30am, August 8.
Drew's mum Vakaloloma Lelliott and his 'second mum' Stephanie Wailes shared that those who knew him best held onto his strength and love.
'He just has charisma. Anyone that had met him, it didn't matter how much time you spent with him, you were never going to forget him,' Steph said.
'He is the life of the party and he's the one that kept it going.'
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the Mount Martin crash.
