Green Bay Police narrowly win ‘Battle of the Badges' blood drive
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Police Department came out on top in this year's 'Battle of the Badges,' edging the Green Bay Metro Fire Department by just two donations to retain the trophy and bragging rights.
The annual blood drive, hosted by The Community Blood Center, saw both departments rallying community members to donate blood.

Together, the effort helped save an estimated 42 lives through the donations collected Thursday morning.
While the competition was close, the police department's slight edge was enough to secure another year of victory in the friendly rivalry.
