Mike Tindall spotted partying on a yacht with TV presenter Denise van Outen after Monaco Grand Prix
Mike Tindall has been spotted enjoying the Monaco Grand Prix festivities alongside a high-profile female TV star without his world-famous wife Zara Tindall. The retired rugby great married Queen Elizabeth II's eldest granddaughter in 2011 in a major royal wedding in Edinburgh. Zara holds no titles and is also not a working royal like her cousins, instead embarking on a career as a pro horse rider and winning a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics as an equestrian. The Tindalls are also free to take part in lucrative paid gigs and partnerships across the world, and often pop up at Formula 1 events. Over the weekend, Mike was captured partying on a yacht after the Monaco Grand Prix in a social media post shared by TV host and actress Denise van Outen. Ms van Outen has appeared in a variety of TV shows in the United Kingdom and had a recurring role on Aussie soap Neighbours as Prudence "Prue" Wallace. The TV star posted a video on Instagram featuring Tindall enjoying a beverage barefoot aboard the luxury yacht while Zara was nowhere in sight. "Monaco @f1 @grandprix Incredible 48 hours with the best people @thegreenroomexperience As weekends go, this is hard to top,' Ms van Outen wrote. "Thanks Mike & the team at Green Room for yet another epic event. Loved DJing for you guys." Despite a new mandatory two-stop rule being in place this year, the podium of the iconic Monaco Grand Prix predictably matched qualifying as Lando Norris gave McLaren its first win in the principality since 2008. Monégasque local Charles Leclerc, who won the race last year for Ferrari, did his best to put some pressure on Norris but failed to pull out any tricks on Monaco's notoriously narrow streets. Aussie Oscar Piastri finished third, but his lead in the world championship has been slashed to three points while reigning world champion Max Verstappen finished fourth. The Tindalls are both Formula 1 fanatics and travelled to the Middle East in April alongside Zara's cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Held in a transformed chef's table setting on the second floor, the event previews the omakase-style pizza bar set to open permanently in late 2026 as part of the hotel's ongoing revamp. Lunch and dinner services will feature a degustazione menu (HK$1,888 per person) of seven Roman-style pizza alla pala topped with the likes of Warayaki tuna, duck sausage with zucchini and fennel, and Wagyu with black lemon. A Fior di latte dessert with lemon jam and Okinawa mango finishes things off, with optional wine pairings starting from HK$498. Expect 48-hour fermented dough, seasonal ingredients and pizza with a crisp, airy crust. Bar manager Gail Lanorias leans into the ethos of 'complex but not complicated' with new signatures such as the Golden Child, a heady mix of sage-infused Nordes gin, rosemary syrup and pineapple, and the red bean-and-yuzu-spiked Star Crossed Lovers, topped with matcha soy foam. Designed with Wes Anderson-esque flair in lacquered green and Pevla stone, the space strikes a sweet spot between elegance and eccentricity. Fridays now play host to Moonlight, a late-night series featuring regional guest bartenders, Mono x Moonlight snacks and the occasional drag spectacle. The Upper House 88 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong It takes (more than) two Bar Leone, Hong Kong's reigning champion of neighbourhood Italian cocktail charm, marks its second anniversary with a ten-day series of guest shifts from June 1 to 10 featuring some of the world's most celebrated bars. The festivities kick off with Miami's Café La Trova (June 1), where Cantinero legend Julio Cabrera brings Cuban flair to Bridges Street. On June 7, it's a double act with Viceversa's Valentino Longo and Overstory's Harrison Ginsberg, while the finale on June 10 sees The Connaught Bar's Giorgio Bargiani fly in from London, Martini in hand. Known for its cocktail popolari ethos, Bar Leone's anniversary programme doubles as a global roll call of bartending's finest, all served with a side of warm hospitality and a touch of dolce vita. There's fire in the quail pepper roast, cooled by boiled quail eggs and lemon, and flair in the Patiala shahi koftey , where soft cheese dumplings come studded with nuts and royal cumin. A sweet finish comes via bahapa doi , a steamed yoghurt flan with rose cookies, or the daily sorbet, a dairy-free nod to an ancient recipe, finished with cashew. Dinner is served nightly from 6pm. Partnering with France's Prunier, the team has built a four-course menu centred on sustainably sourced Oscietra caviar, five grams per dish, no less. Highlights include onsen egg with petits pois and vodka sauce, tagliolini with lemon confit and chives, and a sweet finale of marcona almond sponge with lime crème and coconut pearls. Each dish is designed to let the caviar's signature roasted walnut notes shine, with an optional pairing cocktail, Bloom & Sand, blending Belvedere vodka, elderflower and bitters for a Riviera-style finish. Bar bites such as the crispy potato croissant and cod croquette keep things casual, while Qura's art deco setting and harbour views do the heavy lifting on glamour.

New nightlife party experience aims to "break up with the club" culture in Charlotte
A 704 Party is Charlotte's newest party series that offers nightclub vibes without sections and bottle service. Why it matters: With our constantly evolving nightlife scene, founder and Charlotte native Erin Thames aims to create a space focused on dancing and inclusivity. Background: After exploring the nightlife in various cities, Thames wanted to create a social scene that emphasized bringing people together — something she felt was lacking in her hometown. "I wanted a space where I could go and turn up and it wasn't rooted in today's club culture where there's sections, bottle service and long lines at the door," said Thames. "I have a theory that those things contribute to a lack of community because there's all of these barriers to separate us." Driving the news: Hundreds of people are already attending these pop-up parties. The next event, "Break Up With the Club" Vol. III, at Green Room, is scheduled for March 15. Tickets are $15. What to expect: The parties happen monthly in different locations, with some past events held at The Royal Tot and Alongside Brewing. Each event venue is chosen with space for people to bust a move and with ample open seating at no additional charge for when partygoers want to relax. Some events, which have seen at least 150 people, have a capacity limit depending on the venue, so you'll need to RSVP in advance. Past events have also had a small specialty menu, with a few custom cocktail options at the bar. "We're trying to reduce cost barriers as much as possible," said Thames. "There shouldn't be a steep price to turn up. You can absolutely expect no paid sections. If you want to sit down and kick it with your friends, you are absolutely free to do that." The vibe: These events, which are DJed by Thames and other local DJs, tend to play a diverse range of vibrant music that urges people to dance. You can expect to hear music like house, Afrobeats, amapiano, soul and old school R&B. "I want to cater to the people who might want to hear a different sound when they go out," Thames said. Zoom out: In addition to the dance-focused events, they also host entertainment-related experiences that tend to spotlight art galleries or festivals. A partnered event with The Mimosa Way at the The Mint Museum earlier this year featured vendors, live activations, drinks and snacks. They've also collaborated with Dammit Wesley 's Hunnid Dollar Art Fair and Durag Festival. My thought bubble: This is one of the few spaces in Charlotte where I've seen a large portion of partygoers dance unashamedly in our nightlife scene, so this is worth checking out if you've been searching for a space where you can let loose and dance like nobody is watching.
