GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — An annual event is making it's way back to Greenville.
Greenville Recreation and Parks' Sunday in the Park will be hosted across two seasons this year for the first time ever. Sunday in the Park is a family friendly free event that brings live music and food trucks to the community.
The first summer session event will be on Saturday, June 1, at the Town Common with the Tar River Community Band Playing. On June 15, Miss Mini & The Sandman Band will play. The last date for the summer session is June 29, where The Main Event Band will take stage. Summer concerts will begin at 6:30pm.
The fall session starts on Saturday, September 7, where Built for Comfort will play. The last day for the fall concerts will be on September 21, and Love Tribe will perform. These events will be held at the Wildwood Park Event Shelter.
'This year's expansion into two seasons allows us to reach even more residents and visitors while showcasing the incredible talent we have in our region,' said Megan Howard, Marketing & Events Coordinator for Greenville Recreation and Parks. 'We're excited to bring the community together through music, food, and the beauty of our parks.'
