More from TVLine ABC Sets Summer Premiere Dates for Martin Short-Led Match Game Revival, Bachelor in Paradise and More - But Where's Claim to Fame? What to Watch in May: Your Guide to 130+ Premieres Across Broadcast, Cable and Streaming Matthew Gray Gubler's Einstein Delayed at CBS Until 2026-27 Season - Find Out Why 'Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid alien, but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job,' reads the official description. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Mike is beginning to think aren't caused by anything human.' Gary Farmer, Gracelyn Awad Rinke, Jenna Lamia, Sarah Podemski, Linda Hamilton, Enver Gjokaj, Terry O'Quinn and Edi Patterson are also back, alongside new guest stars Jewel Staite (Firefly) and Stephen Root (Barry). Resident Alien season 4: new network, plot twists, and release timeline

Resident Alien season 4 is gearing up for a return, with production currently underway in Vancouver and an estimated wrap date of March 31, 2025. Given previous production timelines, fans can expect a late summer or early fall 2025 release. A major change for the Alan Tudyk-led sci-fi comedy is its move from Syfy to USA Network, a decision aimed at expanding its audience and ensuring long-term viability. The series has already gained widespread popularity through streaming on Peacock and Netflix. Season 4 promises an action-packed storyline, focusing more on its extraterrestrial elements. The season 3 finale left fans with multiple cliffhangers: Tudyk's Harry Vanderspeigle was captured by the Greys, while the menacing Mantid assumed Harry's identity to infiltrate the town of Patience, Colorado. Tudyk will take on dual roles, playing both Harry and his villainous counterpart. The returning Resident Alien cast includes Sara Tomko, Alice Wetterlund, Corey Reynolds, Linda Hamilton, and Clancy Brown. Showrunner Chris Sheridan teased a darker, more intense season, embracing "more of the alien stuff," including human abductions, intergalactic conflicts, and a shapeshifting antagonist. The Mantid's ability to transform into anyone adds a thrilling mystery element, promising unexpected twists. Fans eagerly awaiting Resident Alien season 4 can catch up on previous seasons streaming on Peacock and Netflix.
