In Ed Sheeran's new video, a stalker-ish fan returns. The four-time Grammy winner released his new video and single "A Little More" on Thursday, Aug. 7, and "Harry Potter" star Rupert Grint made a special appearance. Grint reprises a role, but not as Ron Weasley from the beloved film franchise. Instead, the actor stars as the British pop star's stalker, who originated in the music video for Sheeran's 2011 hit song "Lego House." "I used to love you, now every day I hate you just a little more / Life got better when I lost you, but every day I hate you just a little more and more and more," Sheeran croons during the catchy chorus of "A Little More." "Blame it on your history and say it's not your fault / I can't call you crazy 'cause you could be diagnosed." Throughout the video, Grint experiences hallucinations of Sheeran, who appears in a variety of guises, including a prison officer, therapist, cleaner, and wedding guest. On the wedding day itself, all the guests turn out to be Sheeran, and when Grint lifts the bride's veil, he's met with Sheeran's face. The final scene features the pair dancing beneath a disco ball, with Sheeran dressed in a bridal behind-the-scenes details on Instagram, Ed Sheeran wrote: 'I hadn't worked with @rupertgrint in 14 years since Lego House, so I wasn't sure if he'd agree to this idea. But I'm so glad he did.' He added, 'It was the longest video shoot I'd done at that point, and definitely the one with the most costume changes.'The track was co-written by Sheeran alongside Dave, Johnny McDaid, Blake Slatkin, and Cirkut. Its lyrics touch on lingering resentment, including the lines, 'life got better when I lost you / but every day I hate you just a little more.' Fourteen years after the pop star first tapped Rupert Grint to play his stalker/doppelgänger in the 2011 ' Lego House ' music video, the two ginger have teamed up once again for a new music video arriving very soon. Releasing Thursday alongside a new song titled 'A Little More,' the video will feature the Harry Potter star seemingly reprising his role from the 'Lego House' visual. In a clip posted by Sheeran on Monday, Grint steps out of a prison — where he appears to have spent the past decade and a half in custody — and starts walking as the memories of his past crimes flash through his mind. The montage that plays features clips from 'Lego House,' showing Grint getting tackled after he sneaks into a concert venue and pretends to be the Grammy winner onstage. '14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited,' Sheeran captioned the footage. 'I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully rupert was up for it. It's an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song.' Ed Sheeran has enlisted Harry Potter star Rupert Grint to once again star in a music video, after he was the centrepiece of the iconic Lego House video 14 years ago. The popstar, 34, shared details for the upcoming video for his new song A Little More – and included a teaser featuring his lookalike friend in on the fun. Playing on their doppelganger looks, Grint, 36, last featured in the Brit singer's 2011 Lego House video, which went on to become the singer's most iconic visual. In the 14-year-old video, Grunt subbed in for Sheeran, mouthing the lyrics to his song, as he played a stalker who was taken into custody after breaking into the singer's tour bus and trying to impersonate him onstage. Sheeran shared a teaser for the new song A Little More, which seems to feature Grint reprising the role of the singer's stalker, after he has been released from prison. What happens next remains to be seen – the music video is set to arrive this Thursday (August 7). Sharing the teaser, Sheeran wrote in the caption: '14 years later me and Rupert Grint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully Rupert was up for it. 'It's an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song. Think this one is gonna be a lot of people's fav song from Play. Out Thursday, watch out for more stuff coming x.' In the comments section, Sheeran's fans were delighted over the reunion. @Sheeran_lisa wrote: 'I don't think ever been this excited for a music video in my entire life.'
