Because women are the change agent of every family and society," Purie, who is also the executive editor-in-chief of the India Today Group, BHAGWAT ON WOMEN IN RSSLater, during his speech, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat touched upon this aspect, saying women have already started working in the "implementation groups" of various departments of the RSS."If society has to be transformed, half of the population cannot be left out," he also underlined that members of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti, which was set up in 1936 for women, were invited to participate in the annual meeting of the RSS core PURIE ON NEED TO WEED OUT CORRUPTIONPurie's second suggestion was a joint effort to weed out corruption. Citing findings from the inaugural India Today Gross Domestic Behaviour (GDB) survey, Purie underlined that the attitude of Indians in accepting corruption was very disheartening."In one state, corruption is accepted as a necessity by 94% of the respondents. We must not allow this collective surrender to corruption. We must work hard to root it out. If anyone can do it, it is definitely the Sangh," she the outset, Purie lauded the 'panch parivartan' initiative by the RSS - social harmony, environmental consciousness, selfhood, and civic responsibility - as essential for a thriving community."RSS lives by the principles of simplicity and discipline. Its long-term vision and planning are a lesson for all of us," she further further shared her personal experience of meeting Dr Mohan Bhagwat for the first time. "He was very down-to-earth, and his mannerisms were accepting. Simplicity was his way of life," she said.- EndsMust Watch
