Liquor, illegal drugs recovered
Patna: Police recovered liquor and illegal drugs from the basement of an apartment on Govind Mitra Road under Pirbahore police station area in Patna during a raid on Saturday. Town ASP-I, Mohibullah Ansari, said the search in the apartment was conducted after police received information in this regard.
Man kills wife: A 30-year-old man bludgeoned his wife to death at Harkesh Barari village under Uchkagaon police station area of Gopalganj district on Saturday over a dowry demand. The accused was taken into custody. The deceased was identified as Gudiya Devi (26), wife of Ram Babu Sah, a resident of Harkesh Barari village. The couple, married for four years, has a one-year-old child.
