Inter Milan Striker One Step From Joining Cagliari
Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito is one step away from joining Cagliari after a key round of talks yesterday. This according to today's print edition of Cagliari-based newspaper L'Unione Sarda, via FCInterNews. The past few days have seen a real tug-of-war emerge regarding Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito. It has always seemed clear that the Italy Under-21 international would leave Inter for good this summer. Esposito has gone out on a string of loan moves. Last season he was on loan at Empoli. But this summer, Inter are keen to sell Esposito outright once and for all. However, two clubs have been pushing to sign Esposito in the last few days. Cagliari have been in talks with Inter this week. They're pushing to finally wrap up a deal for Esposito. However, earlier this week Parma reportedly also looked to hijack the Rossoblu's deal, which had hit a couple snags. Yesterday, though, Cagliari made another advance to sign Esposito. L'Union Sarda report that Rossoblu Sporting Director Guido Angelozzi met with Inter executives. They reached an agreement on a deal for Esposito. Therefore, the 23-year-old should be set to make the move to Cagliari imminently.

Cagliari director on Zortea's future: 'We'll evaluate offers.'
Nadir Zortea is one of the profiles followed by Roma to strengthen the right flank. Newly appointed Cagliari sporting director Guido Angelozzi spoke about his possible transfer in this summer window. Speaking at a press conference to introduce himself to his new club, the executive of the Sardinian team made some statements regarding the market, focusing in particular on the right back. Advertisement 'Zortea is a strong player on whom there has been a significant investment, if an offer arrives we will evaluate it but the intention is to keep almost everyone.' 'Then we need to understand if the players want to stay or want to leave. You also have to listen to the complaints because I don't like players with stomach aches. Those who are in Cagliari must stay with the desire, those who don't have it we will evaluate what to do.'
