(AP Photo/Natacha Pisarenko) BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — They may not have the global stars of Real Madrid or Manchester City, but Boca Juniors and River Plate bring something else: unmatched passion in the stands. They are Argentina's most popular clubs and fierce rivals. Thousands of their fans are expected to travel to the U.S. for the month-long FIFA Club World Cup that starts Saturday, hoping to recreate the electric atmosphere of Buenos Aires' iconic stadiums, La Bombonera and El Monumental. Advertisement From club-crest tattoos and towering banners to chants pledging eternal loyalty or mocking their rivals, these supporters live for their teams. Hardcore groups known as 'barra bravas' lead the noise with drums and trumpets, though some members won't make the trip due to stadium bans or legal troubles. Photos: World reacts to Pope Francis's death

(Henry Nicholls/AFP via Getty Images) People around the world are paying tribute to Pope Francis, history's first Latin American pontiff, who died Monday at age 88 . Francis, who had been recovering from a bout with double pneumonia, emerged from his convalescence on Easter Sunday to bless the thousands of people in St. Peter's Square and make a surprise popemobile ride through the piazza. "We can never choreograph our own birth or death, that's always in God's hands," Cardinal Timothy Dolan told reporters at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. "But if you could choreograph it, you couldn't choreograph it any better." Advertisement The news of his death, announced by the Vatican on Monday morning, reverberated across the globe, with people mourning Francis on the streets and inside churches and other places of worship. At the Basílica de San José de Flores in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Francis worshipped as a youth, parishioners clutched photos of the late pontiff and wiped away tears. Here are just some of the images of the world reacting to the pope's passing.
