Video: Passenger Occupies Man's Confirmed Seat In Sleeper Coach, Railways Responds
In recent days, several railway passengers have been taking to social media to show the dire condition of trains, which have been marred by overcrowding and ticketless passengers occupying seats. Now, an X user expressed frustration about his experience on the Gwalior-Barauni Express train. The user shared a video showing the overcrowded sleeper coach and complained that his reserved seat was occupied by another passenger. Despite requesting the Ticket Checker, no action was taken to resolve the situation, and his seat remained occupied by another passenger. He wrote, "My seat is occupied by another passenger. I requested the TTE, Sir, to get my seat vacated, but it still hasn't been cleared." Watch the video here: 11123 GWL BJU EXPRESS Sleeper Ka hal Genral Se Bhi Kharab Hai 01. This leads to discomfort and inconvenience for passengers who have paid for reserved seats.

Labourer who clashed with passenger to sit near door falls off train, dies
Gorakhpur: A 45-year-old labourer from Bihar died after reportedly falling off the Gwalior-Barauni Express early Friday morning following a scuffle over sitting space near the train's door. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The tragic incident occurred between Chakiya and Tiwari Purwa stations in the Sahjanwa region of Gorakhpur on Friday morning. The deceased, Anil Bind, a native of Nalanda district in Bihar, was working as a daily-wage labourer in Basti along with his brother Sonu. The duo was returning home when they failed to find vacant seats and decided to sit near the door of the coach. According to eyewitness accounts, an argument broke out between Anil and another passenger, identified as Karan, who had allegedly advised Anil—who was dozing off while sitting near the edge—to move inside for his safety. The seemingly minor exchange escalated into a heated verbal spat. Moments later, as Anil tried to reposition himself, he reportedly lost balance and fell from the moving train. His body was discovered by villagers near the railway track in Tiwari Purwa around 8 am. An hour later, Sonu identified the body and blamed Karan for provoking the incident. A physical altercation ensued between the two, resulting in Karan sustaining serious injuries. He was referred to BRD Medical College for treatment. Confirming the developments, GRP inspector Vijay Pratap Singh said that an FIR has been registered against Karan based on Sonu's complaint. "We are questioning other passengers who were present in the coach at the time to ascertain the exact sequence of events," he added.
