Sadie Sink Rumored to Play Gwen Stacy in SPIDER-MAN: BRNAD NEW DAY — GeekTyrant
The Marvel movie rumor mill is constantly spinning for Spider-Man: Brand New Day , and now we are back onSadie Sink and the character she might be playing in the movie. A new report suggests her mystery role might finally be revealed. Internet scooper Kristian Harloff claims he's heard something 'pretty close to guarantee' about Sink stepping into the shoes of Gwen Stacy. This is something fans have been speculating about her character since she was cast. Other theories have ranged from Mayday Parker to Mary Jane Watson to Felicia Hardy, but if this report is true, Gwen Stacy could be swinging back into live-action. If confirmed, Sink would be the third actress to take on the role. Bryce Dallas Howard played Gwen in Spider-Man 3 (2007), while Emma Stone brought her to life in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its sequel, where Gwen met her tragic end after Harry Osborn's Green Goblin caused her fatal fall. That version of the franchise reportedly had plans to resurrect her in a third movie that never happened. In the comics, Gwen is Peter Parker's college classmate and one of his great loves. With Tom Holland's Peter heading off to college in Brand New Day , introducing Gwen now would fit neatly into the timeline. Marvel has also reinvented the character in recent years as Spider-Woman, better known as 'Spider-Gwen', a hero who's become a central figure in the animated Spider-Verse films. On top of the Gwen Stacy rumor, its been rumored that Brand New Day will feature more villains than fans expect. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton with a script from Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the movie stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, and Liza Colón-Zayas, with several surprise roles still under wraps. Marvel Studios has Spider-Man: Brand New Day set for release on July 31, 2026. The studio has yet to confirm Sink's involvement as Gwen Stacy, so for now, fans will have to wait for the official word.

Sadie Sink's Spider-Man: Brand New Day Role Revealed by New Rumor
A new rumor has added fuel to ongoing speculation surrounding Spider-Man 4. New reports suggest that Sadie Sink's rumored role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day may have finally been identified, pointing to a significant character addition as the franchise moves into its next chapter. Sadie Sink likely playing a familiar character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day Internet scooper Kristian Harloff revealed that he heard a 'pretty close to guarantee' about Sadie Sink taking on the role of Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This report adds to months of online speculation, with previous fan theories linking Sink to characters like Mayday Parker, Mary Jane Watson, and Felicia Hardy. If accurate, this would mark Gwen Stacy's third live-action portrayal. Bryce Dallas Howard first played the character in Spider-Man 3 (2007), followed by Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its sequel. Gwen died in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 after a fall caused by Harry Osborn's Green Goblin. The abandoned third film reportedly planned to resurrect her. In the comics, Gwen was Peter Parker's college classmate and love interest. With Tom Holland's Spider-Man expected to start college in Brand New Day, Gwen's inclusion would align with the comic timeline. In recent years, Marvel has reimagined Gwen as Spider-Woman, also known as 'Spider-Gwen' or 'Ghost-Spider,' who now leads the animated Spider-Verse films. In addition, Daniel Richtman reports that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will include more villains than previously revealed. Destin Daniel Cretton directs the film, while Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote the screenplay. The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, and Liza Colón-Zayas. Several surprise roles remain under tight wraps. Marvel Studios plans to release Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026. The studio has not confirmed Sadie Sink's role in the film. Gwen Stacy's appearance also remains unverified, with key character details kept secret ahead of the marketing rollout. Solve the daily Crossword

Lego's Newest Collectible Minifigures Swing Into the Spider-Verse
Lego's Collectible Minifigure series has crossed with a bunch of licenses at this point, from Dungeons & Dragons to The Muppets and many more—including both Marvel Comics and the MCU. But we've never had an entire wave dedicated to Spider-Man before, and Lego is entering the Spider-Verse in style. Revealed today as part of the Spider-Man Day celebrations, Lego confirmed that its next wave of blind-boxed collectible minifigures will draw on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to give fans 12 different minifigures drawing from both the main cast of the film—Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, Peter B. Parker, and Miguel O'Hara—as well as some deep-cut Spideys from across Miguel's Spider-Society… and at least one other familiar multiversal face. Most of the minifigures will come with their own unique accessories, like Spider-Man 2099's handheld hologram figurine of Lyla, or even Pavitr coming with Spider-Cat. But there are some real fun nods in the wave, like cowboy Spider-Man Patrick O'Hara, the Web-Slinger, coming with his horse Widow, or the amazing Werewolf Spider-Man minifigure sculpt. Here's the full list of included minifigs in the line: The Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Collectible Minifigures will retail for $5 per blind box, and are set to swing onto shelves September 1. Spider-Gwen's New Comic Already Has Fans Reeling, And It's Not Even Out Yet
Marvel's multiverse shenanigans can be hard to keep track of, especially across its many, many different media franchises. The MCU has been following a multiverse arc since Endgame premiered in 2019, and there's reason to believe Insomniac's Spider-Man games might be dabbling in the Spider-Verse in the future. However, the multi-reality concept began in the comic books, where they've been dealing with the multiverse for decades. One of the most prominent faces of these alternate dimensions is Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man's sometimes girlfriend, who in one reality tragically dies, changing the course of the hero's life forever. In a different timeline however, the two's relationship was reversed, and Gwen became Spider-Gwen (or Ghost-Spider, or Spider-Woman) after the tragic loss of Peter. But now it looks like the comics are using some cosmic fuckery to alter things in the comic's 'main' timeline, and fans are less than thrilled. All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider is a new comic run set to begin in August, and when fans saw the synopsis for the series back in May, it immediately raised eyebrows. All-New Spider-Gwen has its titular hero's story rewoven into the fabric of the Marvel universe. Using the Cosmic Cube, a powerful object that can reshape realities, Gwen becomes part of Earth 616, the 'Prime' reality in Marvel's various continuities (the MCU universe name began as 616, but has since become a bit more complicated as the franchise has gone on, and is now called Earth-19999). How does this work logistically? What does it mean for both Gwen and Peter to be alive in the same universe? Does this not completely change Peter Parker's trajectory in the main 'canon?' There are plenty of questions the comics will likely answer when they start rolling out next month, but right now, a lot of Spider-Gwen fans are less concerned about how Marvel is going to explain all of this, and more bothered by how this undermines Spider-Gwen's story. Spider-Gwen isn't just another hero with the same powers as Spider-Man. Her entire premise is to be a deliberate remix of his story, an exploration of the parallels between both of their worlds, and she is at the center of one of the most compelling 'what if' scenarios in comic books. Plopping her into the 'main' story runs counter to her very premise. Some fans think this is the natural end result of her rise in popularity after the Spider-Verse films, while others argue that Spider-Man lore has become so convoluted that this feels like Marvel running out of ideas. It's entirely possible this is merely an extended vacation in the main continuity before Gwen heads back to her original life, but the official synopsis says she's 'here to stay.' We'll see how Marvel handles this reality-altering storyline, and whether this will crossover with the main Spider-Man books, when the first issue is released on August 20. . Spider-Gwen's Twisty 2025 Continues in New Comic Relaunch
She's gonna be in the next 'Spider-Verse' movie, which means it's time for Spider-Gwen to star in a new comics run. Ever since she first debuted as a superheroic variant of Gwen Stacy in 2014, Spider-Gwen has become a semi-staple of Spider-Man media. If she's not swinging on her own with Miles or Peter, she's caught up in her own situations. While the original Gwen is being revived and turned into Gwenpool in a few months, the wallcrawling Stacy is getting another solo comic that help keep her in the orbit of other Spider-heroes. So in All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost Spider from returning writer and artist duo Stephanie Phillips and Paolo Villanelli, Gwen continues to be a full-time resident of Earth-616. Like her fellow Spiders before her, she's in her 'brand new' era: a new costume, a new place to live, and she's even looking to start up a new rock band. Those plans of hers get thrown into disarray when she's got new threats to tangle with, at least one of which Phillips teased 'might be her own fault.' Previous Spider-Gwen runs explored how she made the most of her new lease on life, either in 616 or her home dimension of Earth-65, and the same's true with this All-New series. Philips said the book's core theme is about 'possibility. […] She's finally in a place where she can build something new—new allies, new purpose, and maybe even a new sense of self.' Of course, with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse possibly hitting theaters in June 2027, it also doesn't hurt to have Gwen headlining a new comic and maybe being a key part of whatever the next major Spider-book crossover is whenever that hits in the next few years. All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost Spider begins on August 20 following the end of the current Spider-Gwen: The Ghost Spider run wrapping with Issue 15 on July 2. [via Collider]
