Ethan Klein says human skulls were mailed during CPS visit and FBI launched investigation

Ethan Klein, host of the H3 Podcast, revealed that he received two human skulls in the mail around the same time Child Protective Services (CPS) visited his home in March 2025, following a false report. He discussed the incident during the 119th episode of the H3 Show and later elaborated in an April 21 video on his h3h3Productions YouTube channel. Klein said the situation began in early March, when CPS arrived after an anonymous tip claimed his child was 'crawling around and eating dog feces.' He noted that the CPS officer suggested the report may have come from someone familiar with the family. Klein responded that it's easy to impersonate someone online, making false reports difficult to trace. Around that time, the family received two unidentified human skulls by mail, prompting an FBI investigation. 'We had a very pleasant interview with the FBI,' Klein stated, adding that the situation had escalated beyond the usual bounds of online trolling and harassment. Alongside the CPS and FBI developments, Klein also addressed criticism from YouTuber Ian 'iDubbbz' Carter, whose recent Content Cop video targeted Klein. In his response titled My Response to iDubbbz, Klein called the hour-long feature 'poorly researched' and 'desperate,' questioning why he was singled out more harshly than others and accusing iDubbbz of compromising his values for relevance. As of now, iDubbbz has not publicly responded to Klein's video. Klein said the experience highlights how internet conflicts can spiral into real-world threats, moving 'well past the point' of typical online drama.

Ethan Klein reacts to iDubbbz's new Content Cop episode on H3 podcast and YouTube drama

YouTuber and H3 Podcast host Ethan Klein has publicly criticised iDubbbz's latest Content Cop video, which targets the H3 brand. On the 16 April episode of the podcast, Klein expressed disbelief over the subject of the new video and the creators involved in its production. Calling the project 'pathetic' and 'mean-spirited,' Klein voiced concern that his colleague Lena Ayad was caught off guard, leading to a panic attack ahead of her participation in Creator Clash 3. Klein appeared shocked by iDubbbz's collaboration with Twitch personalities such as HasanAbi, Denims and Frogan, especially given his previous support for iDubbbz and his projects. He said, 'I can't believe how f**king insane this is... People who watch this show know how much I've stood up for him.' Klein also pointed out that he had defended iDubbbz during past online controversies and helped promote his boxing events. Further into the broadcast, Klein accused iDubbbz of aligning with creators he believes are hostile toward him. He said, 'How is it that he is going to ally with someone like Denims and Frogan? And Noah Samsen?' The tension stems from broader ongoing conflicts within the online content community, particularly involving reactions to geopolitical commentary. Klein has previously released a 'Content Nuke' aimed at HasanAbi, which the streamer did not publicly address. In the latest developments, Hasan encouraged his followers on X to view iDubbbz's new video and reacted to it on Twitch. Meanwhile, Klein has taken legal steps alongside SomeOrdinaryGamers against Noah Samsen for earlier content criticising YouTubers.

Ethan Klein slams Hasan Piker over China comments

Tensions between popular streamers Ethan Klein and Hasan Piker have escalated, with Klein accusing Piker of promoting pro-China propaganda and downplaying human rights violations. The dispute follows Piker's recent commentary on China's policies, which Klein claims aligns too closely with Chinese state narratives. Klein, co-host of the H3 Podcast, voiced his concerns publicly, alleging that Piker dismisses serious human rights abuses. This marks a significant rift between the two, who previously co-hosted the political podcast Leftovers. The show, launched in September 2021, focused on politics and internet culture but was discontinued in November 2023 due to mounting disagreements between the hosts. The conflict highlights broader ideological divisions within the online political commentary space. In a recent podcast episode, Klein expressed frustration with Piker's positions, stating, "There's not a single dissenting voice with his... radical, anti-American, antisemitic, pro-terrorism takes. This is fringe, psychotic sh*t." Piker has not yet responded to Klein's accusations. However, the controversy reflects a growing divide within online political discourse, as influential figures debate geopolitical issues and the ethical responsibility of their platforms. The fallout from this dispute may further shape online discussions around media narratives, propaganda, and global politics, with both Klein and Piker maintaining strong followings that engage deeply with their content. As debates over China's policies and international affairs continue, this latest feud underscores the complexities of digital influence in shaping public opinion.
