Eden Park Recognised At International Awards

Press Release – Eden Park Eden Park has been recognised on the global stage with two prestigious honours at TheStadiumBusiness Awards 2025 – a celebration of leadership, innovation, and achievement in the international stadium and venue industry. New Zealand's national stadium was awarded Event of the Year for the World's Largest Haka, a powerful celebration of culture and connection that brought thousands together and captivated audiences worldwide. Eden Park also received the Sustainability & Community Award, recognising its long-standing commitment to environmental responsibility and creating positive community outcomes. Nick Sautner, CEO of Eden Park, says the awards are a testament to the people behind the stadium's success: 'We're incredibly proud to see Eden Park recognised on the global stage. These honours affirm our position as a world-class venue delivering excellence across event experiences, sustainability, and operational performance. It's a tribute to our dedicated team, our partners, and our community who share our vision for a venue that leads with purpose and impact. A special acknowledgement goes to Dame Hinewehi Mohi DNZM (Ngāti Kahungunu/Ngāi Tūhoe), cultural ambassador for HAKA and co-founder of the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, whose vision brought the World's Largest Haka to life. We were honoured to provide the stage for such a powerful moment.' These achievements follow Eden Park's recognition as Venue of the Year in 2024 and reinforce its position as one of the world's most innovative and purposeful multi-purpose, hybrid stadiums – a community asset for Auckland and a strategic asset for New Zealand. Angelina Tennino, Co-Founder of TheStadiumBusiness Awards, said: 'My sincere thanks to all of our judges for their time and considerations in reviewing the entries. Congratulations to all of the finalists who made the shortlists this year from a record number of entries – they should all be very proud of their achievements – and special praise to the winners who scooped the votes of the judges to reach the podium.' Eden Park extends its appreciation for the continued support of fans, partners, and community as it continues to deliver world class live events while championing purpose, people, and pride at the heart of New Zealand's most iconic venue.
