The awarded project covers the Bangalore and Mysore divisions of South Western Railway. The contract includes the provision of Kavach across 85 railway stations, covering a total route length of 778 kilometers and installation on two locomotives. The total contract value is Rs. 101.55 crores, inclusive of 18% GST. The project is expected to be completed within a period of 18 months. This order adds to HBL Engineering's growing order book, which now stands at Rs. 3,865.43 crores. The contract is domestic in nature, and there is no involvement or interest from the company's promoters, promoter group, or group companies.
