Based on Alice Oseman's graphic novels, the Netflix series has already unleashed three heartfelt seasons, culminating in the latest which premiered in October last year. The series has easily captivated viewers with its poignant coming-of-age story that follows Charlie Spring (played by Joe Locke), who strikes up an unexpected friendship and eventually finds romance with Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). Throughout the past three years, we've seen Charlie and Nick's tender relationship flourish, reaching emotional heights in the most recent season as they exchange heartfelt 'I love yous.' With critical acclaim to boot, boasting a smashing 98 per cent Rotten Tomatoes score from critics, and a loyal fanbase singing praises like "the best show ever!!!", Heartstopper has undeniably won over viewers' hearts. Despite nearing six months since fans were last treated to new episodes, Netflix has yet to confirm whether a fourth season is on the horizon, reports the Mirror US. As they have shared excitement about the anniversary, avid supporters have flocked to social media to plead for Heartstopper to be greenlit for what would be its final season.
