Netflix finally reveals fate of hit drama Heartstopper after three series and huge delays
HEARTSTOPPER has finally had its future revealed by Netflix after its third series amid production delays - and it's good and bad news.
The smash-hit series left fans hungry for more after its third series aired last year as they waited six months to learn its fate.

And now Netflix bosses at streaming giant have confirmed there won't be a fourth series on the platform.
However, instead the Heartstopper story will come to an end with a feature-length movie that's officially been green-lit.
Announcing the news, show bosses said in a statement: "Netflix has today (on the third anniversary of the launch of season one) announced that Heartstopper will return for one final feature film.
"After three seasons of the fan-favourite series, the much-anticipated final instalment will conclude the story of Nick, Charlie and their friends, with the narrative based around the yet unreleased volume six of Alice Oseman's graphic novels."
The heart-warming news means lead stars Joe Locke and Kit Connor's characters Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson will get a proper ending.
Fans will watch as Nick heads to university while Charlie remains in school, with their long-distance relationship beginning to weigh heavy.
As their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet, it remains to be seen if they can stand the test of time.
Heartstopper's creator and writer Alice Oseman said: 'I am completely overjoyed that we will get to tell the end of the Heartstopper story.
"I'm so grateful to everyone who has worked hard to make this possible and to the incredible fans of Heartstopper for your patience and passion.
"I cannot wait to bring this story to a magical conclusion."
Heartstopper star Bradley Riches makes worrying comment about the future of hit Netflix show saying 'it can't end like this'
Reacting to the news, one Heartstopper fan posted: "A movie? So, we aren't getting another full series? I absolutely adore Heartstopper. I have watched the seasons over and over again. It's one of the finest shows that has ever graced our screens! If the movie is as great as the episodes, then we should all be happy!"
A second wrote: "Can it be a really bloody long movie? This is exciting but the storyline was already crammed into an eight episode season."
"I was honestly hoping for a final season, but I'll take a movie over a cancellation any day," said a third fan.
While a fourth commented: "It's a movie or nothing. Can we be happy that Kit and Joe are able to fit this into their schedule now that they've moved on to other even bigger roles? Hopefully, they can bring the rest of the cast back, too. A lot of stars have to align to make this possible. Be happy!"
Who is in the cast of Heartstopper series 3?
Heartstopper became an instant favourite when it landed on Netflix in 2022. Since then there have been a few casting changes. This is who will appear in series three...

Has Mercy for None been renewed for Season 2? Here's what we know:
Renewed Or Cancelled? Mercy for None is the latest Netflix K-drama, boasting compelling characters and a bloody, action-packed storyline. This one has been quite the rollercoaster ride over the season! If you've been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more. Here's what we know about a renewal: What is Mercy for None about? 11 years after going into hiding, an ex-gangster called Nam Gi-jun returns to Seoul's criminal underworld to find out the truth about his brother's death — and get some sweet, sweet revenge. His weapon of choice? A baseball bat. We have ongoing coverage of Mercy for None on the site, including recaps for every episode. You can find those HERE! Has Mercy for None been renewed for season 2? At the time of writing, Netflix have not renewed Mercy for None for season 2. Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show's future is made. So far, Mercy for None has had a good reaction online from critics and audiences alike. Given the way this show is set up, and the ending we receive, we're predicting that this will not be renewed for a second season. Having said that, we do also know that completion rate is a massive metric for these streamers so that could play a pivotal role here. However, it's also rare for these Netflix K-dramas to be renewed – especially when they're labelled as Limited Series like this one is! For now, we'll have to wait and see what happens so take our prediction with a pinch of salt! What we know about season 2 so far: Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it's rare to find these renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently, alongside Alchemy of Souls too. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? It seems very unlikely that Mercy for None will buck the trend. There is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up for a sequel or a spin-off featuring the same characters but considering all of this, we believe this will not be renewed. We generally aim to update this page when more information becomes available. Would you like to see Mercy for None return for a second season? Or do you think the story has run its course? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

We Tried The Lululemon Maxi Dress Everyone's Obsessed With – And Yes, It's Worth the Hype
What's the most fashion forward dress you can wear this summer? That viral Nobody's Child polka dot dress? A celeb-approved Dôen dress? Neither, actually, if the internet is to be believed. No, it would seem that the dress of the season is a maxi from Lululemon. You might be more familiar with Lululemon as the go-to spot for buttery soft Align leggings and athleisure sets that take you from Pilates to brunch with ease, but the activewear brand evidently has a few more tricks up its sleeve. The most recent addition that's calling our attention is the brand's 2-in-1 maxi dress. Unlike most dresses we wax lyrical about, the Lululemon 2-in-1 maxi is simple and largely devoid of intricate details and trendy patterns. Yet, it more than manages to justify its £128 price tag thanks to its genius versatile design. As the name suggests, the dress can be worn two ways: as a strapless drop-waist maxi, and as a long skirt with the bodice folded over. As well as offering an easy blank canvas that can be dressed up or down with ease, the maxi dress also benefits from the brand's activewear know-how and is crafted from its signature four-way stretch, sweat-wicking and naturally breathable fabric that feels luxe while keeping you comfortable and looks good on an array of body types. ©Instagram/@christinalasekstyling 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Green I could go on and on about how effortlessly elegant and wearable the Lululemon maxi dress is, but that's no use to you without some styling guidance, and the multi-wear dress presents an array of styling options. On our Instagram feeds, influencers are sporting the strapless dress with a raffia bag and wedge heels or suede sandals for a relaxed sunny day. Of course, you could also lean into the athleisure of it all and wear the dress with a denim jacket and chunky trainers or dress it up with kitten heels and plenty of gold jewellery. As a skirt, it'll work wonders with a baby tee and elevated flip flops on holiday, while a boho blouse and cowboy boots will put you in a festival state of mind no matter if you're heading to Glastonbury or not. The Lululemon website proclaims that the dress is 'voted most versatile', and if I'm being honest, we're inclined to agree. As with most viral hits, the 2-in-1 maxi is also selling out fast, so if you manage to find your size in stock, we suggest you skip the hesitation. Trust us, this is a dress you'll be wearing multiple ways for years to come. 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Black 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Brown 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Ivory Main image credits: ©Instagram/@meg_legs @iamcarissarenee Hitanshi Kamdar is a senior commerce writer for Grazia.
