Dog rescued after falling 100ft at waterfall near Loch Ness
Volunteer teams from Inverness and Cromarty in the Highlands and Burghead in Moray were sent to the Falls of Foyers, south of Inverness, at around 9.45am on Friday.
The dog, named Reggie, was on holiday in the area with his owner when he had his accident.

HM Coastguard Highland said: "This morning Inverness, Cromarty and Burghead Coastguard Rescue Teams were tasked to the Falls of Foyers where Reggie a holidaymaker enjoying the scenery had fallen around 100ft.

"Our volunteers were able to recover Reggie from the gorge before returning him to his relieved owner.
"After a trip to the vets to get checked over Reggie will continue his trip, avoiding any more excitement."

It consists of two waterfalls on the River Foyers, which feeds Loch Ness.
