HPE (NYSE: HPE) today announced a new vision for hybrid IT operations focused on simplicity through GreenLake Intelligence, an agentic AI framework designed for hybrid environments. The company revealed that this agentic AIOps integration spans nearly every infrastructure layer, transforming GreenLake cloud into an AI-powered hybrid cloud platform.
As organizations face challenges with legacy systems and complex hybrid environments, HPE reported that its agentic AI approach aims to overcome these obstacles. Antonio Neri, HPE's president and CEO, stated that the company is moving enterprises from hybrid complexity toward agentic AI-driven cloud operations. This vision promises enhanced IT performance and operational efficiency.
The new GreenLake Intelligence framework is tightly integrated across HPE's hybrid cloud technology stack. It addresses siloed workflows, troubleshooting delays, and underused IT resources, easing the workload on IT teams. Through GreenLake Copilot, AI agents will provide real-time communication and context-aware reasoning across storage, networking, compute, and virtualization, as well as cost management, observability, and sustainability services.
HPE also announced advancements in network operations with HPE Aruba Networking Central, powered by agentic mesh technology and a conversational networking copilot. This system offers precise root-cause analysis and automated remediation for network and security challenges.
Furthermore, HPE highlighted expansions to the OpsRamp operations copilot, which now supports agentic automation across full-stack infrastructure. This includes AI-driven alerts, incident management, root-cause analysis, and capacity planning, all while maintaining human oversight.
At HPE Discover Las Vegas 2025, the company previewed the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 featuring agentic AI-powered storage integrated with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. This enables data orchestration through GreenLake Copilot or natural language interfaces, enhancing AI workflows with intelligent data management.
HPE is also enhancing GreenLake cloud capabilities for FinOps and sustainability. New tools include workload and capacity optimizers for cost and resilience, proactive spend alerts, and a Sustainability Insight Center offering predictive carbon footprint forecasting.
The company introduced the HPE CloudOps Software suite, which combines OpsRamp, HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software, and HPE Zerto Software to simplify unified hybrid cloud operations. These tools deliver automation, orchestration, governance, and cyber resiliency across multicloud and multi-workload environments.
To accelerate CloudOps adoption, HPE Services now offers comprehensive lifecycle support from consulting through operation, including CloudOps as a managed service.
HPE also unveiled the CloudPhysics Plus assessment tool, providing automated hybrid IT modernization analysis and recommendations across on-premises, multicloud, and cloud-native environments. Additionally, the GreenLake Cloud Commit program offers flexible purchasing options with long-term commitments and value-added services.
Lastly, HPE Financial Services launched new zero percent financing programs for CloudOps, Morpheus, OpsRamp, and Zerto, as well as savings on HPE Alletra Storage portfolio purchases, supporting enterprises in hybrid IT modernization with flexible payment terms.
