'Reliable' HP printer that shoppers 'wish they got sooner' now 31% off for Prime Day
"We've had this printer for over two years now and it has served us very well."
Most of us struggle to splash the cash on new tech for our homes- especially if we've grown attached to the gadgets we've had for a long time. A printer is one household appliance that only needs re-purchased every few years or so.
But technology may have made some serious advancements since many of us last bought a printer. Those who are ready to fully modernise their printing abilities may opt for the wireless HP Envy 6120e All in One Printer, which is currently 31 per cent off on Amazon for Prime Day.
Usually retailing for £79.99, the Prime Day discount currently brings the top-rated gadget's price tag down to a more affordable £54.99 for its 2024 model.
This all-in-one HP touch screen printer offers vivid scanning, copying, duplex printing, and borderless photos, and it can automatically connect with Wi-Fi. Alternatively, it can connect via USB.
With borderless printing, photos can appear on the page exactly as they do on a phone or laptop screen, without any unwanted white borders.

Product Description
It can 'effortlessly' print, scan and copy from phones or laptops with the easy-to-use print app, according to its product description, and there's an option to add a range of subscriptions to have ink delivered straight to the owner's home.
The subscription service, named Instant Ink, is a hassle-free ink replacement service that automatically delivers ink only when the printer is running low, and shoppers can cancel or change their plan at any time.
Customers can also receive six months' worth of ink for completely free for a limited time only. Two-sided printing means users can customise the backs of photos with messages for personalised cards.
However, those browsing alternative printers may opt for the HP Smart Tank 5105 AIO Wireless Tank Printer, which comes with three years of ink, but a higher price tag, available on Argos for £209.99.
For those who are more environmentally conscious, the Brother DCP-J1200WE Inkjet Printer comes with a EcoPro subscription of ink and recycling service for old cartridges. It is also available on Argos for £109.99.
But shoppers adore the Amazon HP printer, which is cheaper than both of these options, even before its Prime Day reduction, and boasts a 4.1-star rating.
One shopper said: "We've had this printer for over two years now, and it has served us very well. The print quality has been reliable, and we find the ink subscription model to work very well for our usage."
Tech deal of the week
It's that time of year where we are looking for ways to keep cool amidst the balmy, summer days.
One item shoppers are raving over is this DDKJ Neck Fan that can be used to keep cool when commuting, at work or in the home. Even better, it costs just £26.98 on Amazon.
With certain parts of the UK set to reach sweltering 35C, it's handy that this neck fan comes with a rose gold cooling plate around the neck curve that is said to "feel like an ice cube", dropping temperatures to just 15C in as little as one second.
Boasting an ergonomic, wearable design, it features two bladeless fans that are safe to wear, with five different speed settings that provide a cooling effect on the head, neck and sides.
It's also quite smart thanks to a LED digital display that makes the operation easy and convenient, while the built-in 5500mAh large capacity rechargeable battery features a fast charging chip that ensures a full charge within just 2.5-3hrs.
Numerous shoppers who have bagged the neck fan say it is a "godsend" and a "lifesaver" for the heatwave, with one writing: "This is easy to wear when sitting or walking generally. Works fast and never needed it on anything but the lowest setting! At my time of life it is a lifesaver, especially through the heatwave we experienced."

Another pleased customer said: "This printer is just great, it prints well and it has a scanner, which is very convenient. It's very easy to set up and it comes with 6 months of instant ink so not bad value for money. It's exactly what I was looking for."
But not all customers were satisfied, as one said: "Though quality of printing is good, this must be the world's worst printer for ink cartridge value for money. I find one of the colours, usually the yellow, runs out after about ten A5 prints on standard everyday printing setting. I doubt if I could get four A4 best photo prints on hp photo paper, making it cost about £5 per print. Appalling value."
Yet another happy shopper said: "Should have bought sooner, definitely worth the money."
