Beta customers like Summit Labels and Geostick reported increased uptime, enhanced stability, and streamlined maintenance. Jordan Fischer from Summit Labels noted a 15% boost in uptime and higher job throughput. HP also emphasized the sustainability benefits. The Indigo 6K+ reduces CO₂ emissions per job by up to 20% and lowers media waste. It supports recycled and renewable substrates and requires less maintenance time, helping meet sustainability goals. The HP Indigo 6K+ will be showcased at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona. At booths E25 and D21 in Hall 5, HP will demonstrate the press alongside its full portfolio of digital solutions.

GMerix becomes exclusive distributor for Polyplex's Saraprint films in Canada

GMerix has announced that it has become the sole distributor of Polyplex's Saraprint digital media films in Canada. Saraprint is a non-tearable polyester film, which is suitable for applications such as flexible packaging, labels, customised digital printing, and mini-offset printing. Alongside the distribution of Saraprint films, GMerix will provide custom coating and converting services. This will enable customers to optimise the performance of Saraprint by integrating it with GMerix's adhesives and coating technologies. GMerix stated that the film offers thermal and dimensional stability and superior ink adhesion, ensuring compatibility with HP Indigo and dry toner digital printing machines. As the exclusive distributor for Saraprint films in Canada, GMerix will be able to provide faster delivery and support, and Canadian businesses will no longer need to import Saraprint from international sources. GMerix founder and CEO George Ambartsoumian said: 'This partnership represents a major step forward in expanding our product offerings for the digital printing and labelling industry in Canada.
