Can Wrexham spark cup run with triumph over Hull City?
Predictions weren't my forte last season, but I nailed the opening one of Wrexham's Championship campaign. I got the 2-1 scoreline at Southampton spot on - and I'd also explained to somebody a couple of hours prior to kick-off exactly how things would pan out!
My remaining predictions this season aren't going to hit those heights - and tonight's match-up with Hull City is going to be a tricky one to look at.
Lewis O'Brien and Conor Coady are going to be the Reds' heartbeats in the league this season, but I don't expect either of them to feature tonight. Phil Parkinson will tinker with his starting line-up - and there are plenty of players to choose from.
Expecting Arthur Okonkwo to come in for his first appearance between the sticks this season and, if selected, it will be interesting to see how Sam Smith and Ryan Hardie get on up front.
The League Cup's not a competition the Reds have mastered since returning to the EFL.
I'm still anticipating a home win and it would be nice to have a decent cup run.
OUR PREDICTIONS:
WREXHAM 1 HULL CITY 0 NICK HARRISON
WREXHAM 2 HULL CITY 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS
WREXHAM 2 HULL CITY 1 SHAUN DAVIES
THE SCORES SO HARRISON 3; SHAUN DAVIES 3; RICHARD WILLIAMS 0
